Our experience with Jim G. and his work has been very positive. It's a pleasure to write this to assist people considering cabinet refacing. Our first interaction with Jim was when he visited us and explained the whole process in a very factual and practical fashion with very little emphasis on why we should go with his company. He gave us a quote the same visit and clearly explained the inclusions and exclusions.

His work is very clean and timely. It took two days to reface our standard sized kitchen. However, he left the kitchen in a state that it could be used the first night thereby causing no disruption to the schedule.

Our frame of reference was a large chain and their 'franchise ish' situation with a cabinet refacer. The person who visited us from that chain lacked the skills and knowledge to explain the process other than pull out his pad and quote an illogical $ figure.

Jim, on the other hand, owns his business, and small enough to care to do a good job. His pricing was also way more reasonable than the other quote. Overall, we are very happy with the end results and glad to have made the decision to go with Jim.

We had a wonderful experience with Jim and his helper. His attention to detail and interest in problem solving created a beautiful kitchen for us to enjoy. Jim was so professional and is such a perfectionist- our house was cleaner when he left than when he arrived because they cleaned up after themselves so well.
We did have quotes from [redacted] and [redacted] prior to speaking to Jim but felt much more confident in his abilities than the bigger companies who couldn't really answer our specific questions.

During our initial meeting, he explained the entire process to me and what to expect. He took extensive notes and remembered all the little things during the actual refacing process that I had forgotten about! Even as the work progressed he found a couple of minor details (from the original kitchen) that could be improved upon for a more overall polished look at no additional expense.
