MrPritchard was hired to complete window sash repair, vent repair, and regrade soil on the property as part of the repairs needed on this home for saleThe window sashes were improperly constructed in several waysThe wood in the sashes were not sanded at allThe wood had not been painted on the exterior sides leaving untreated wood exposed to the elementsThe aluminum flashing from the old sashes were poorly attached to the facade of the new sashes with caulkThe old flashing was ripped and broken in many spots causing it to peel back from the sashThe flashing had not been caulked on the sides of the sashes just the frontThe screws that had been put in the sash to secure them caused the wood to split in many places When MrPritchard was asked to return and make the repairs properly, he simply added paint and caulk, but did not address the improper structural repairs of the sashesThe inspector who did the home inspection as well as a contractor who specializes in sash r
