Adrianna Papell

I purchased an AP dress for my daughter’s wedding from a retailer. At the time I also purchased the displayed optional organza jacket. As the wedding plans developed, it became apparent that I needed the jacket in a different color. I didn’t bother to try to exchange it, I just ordered the jacket in the color and size I needed, from AP directly as it was no longer available at the retailer’s. I paid for the jacket at full price as well as Fed Ex delivery. AP emailed me and said Fed Ex delivered it a couple weeks back. Problem: if it was delivered, it was certainly not to us. (Side note: we have never had problems receiving Fed Ex, UPS, or USPS deliveries.) Tried to track thru FEDEx, but was informed only the sender (AP) could track this shipment. Immediately contacted AP via email and then phone. First they suggested we “check with neighbors.” Um okay.. we actually did. No one got our package. Then they said they’d look into it. Then we heard...nothing. When I again emailed, customer service gave me this: “your package was delivered.” Wait, what? So when I tried again to reach them, I got three (3!) email requests for me to reply with a (presumably glowing) rating on their service. And a notice from PayPal that Adrianna Papell had refunded the jacket cost. (Minus shipping). Now the jacket, if it ever even existed, doesn’t seem to be available at AP or anywhere I can find in the color needed. No explanation, apology, or attempt to help replace the jacket they “sent” me. Now I have to start shopping for a completely different outfit for my daughter’s wedding. Guess what? It won’t be an Adrianna Papell.
