ADT Was called to our house by ***. that came to fix a water leak. When going over the issues at hand ADT gave my wife a work order Agreement not completely filled out. My wife got in contact with our insurance company and told them that ADT was going to work on the house. Upon Request of the insurance company ADT was supposed to send over supporting documents and photos to back up the claim. *** has requested those documents a few times and gotten nothing back. Because ADT didn't handle proper time frames, We cancelled their Service. Not only did they not send a list of required items needing to be repaired, it took them almost 2 weeks to send an invoice. They are not legally allowed to do any work over $5000 dollars per their license. Upon Canceling ADT has sent an email stating they are charging us for services not performed. They also continue to Harass us over the phone and email.
Thank you for the alert of the complaint.ADT showed up to the home and has pictures as well as a video of the damages.The damage was quite extensive. When we entered into the home *** had a rebel flag hanging on his wall and told us if it offends us we can leave because of he and I Quote “”I don’t allow n
rs “” We then kinda played it off and went on about business and my employees who also happen to be my sons are native Americans.His every comment was racist to the highest level. I will be suing him for the full amount of work we did and the profit we lost on the part of the job where he breached the contract. Anything we were going to do is not over the limits of our license and I will be sueing him for slander for this complaint. However, even if it were we work under another license which is up to 50000 or we pass it on to another contractor which my contract states. *** was told 4-6 weeks to do the job complete as everyone in the Restoration business knows it is impossible to finish a job in 2 weeks.*** has no idea how insurance claims must be handled as his own wife even said.I spoke with the adjuster at the home and we agreed on how to perform the job and what was needed to do so. The adjuster and I was in agreement about everything and job was to start the day after *** tried canceling.I had went back to the home and he was telling me how it’s an absolute insane amount of money to do the work I was performing which is actually none of his business how much I make as long as the insurance paid it and agrees on the amount who is he to determine how much I can make.*** clearly seen the amount of money we make and committed a breach of contract.*** owes me what ADT would’ve charged for the job after the breach of contract not what insurance paid.ADT does not help the customer by excepting less from insurance after a breach of contract it’s changed to a cash pay job and is charged a full price plus fees. I never have contacted *** other than to send him the invoice he owes. We will continue to serve him the invoice in all legal ways until it’s paid in full. NO DISCOUNTS ADT has proof by way of pictures,videos and emails to back up everything we done. This guy is racist and I will have no mercy on him in the court of law.
