Ms*** states that she has been receiving several calls on her cell phone by individuals trying to reach “***” regarding a loan applicationUnfortunately, Advance America has encountered complaints of this nature in the past and has posted a Consumer Alert in all of its locations regarding scam callsAdvance America is a brick and mortar operation that requires consumers to visit one of its centers in order to receive its products
We note that Ms*** resides in the state of Oregon, a state in which Advance America does not operateIf Ms*** has captured the phone number of the individuals who have contacted her, and if she is willing to provide the information to us, we will conduct a search of our center phone numbers to provide an additional level of investigation

Advance America is in receipt of the complaint filed by [redacted] and we are sympathetic regarding her experience. Upon receipt of her complaint, we performed a diligent search of our records and we have determined we are not responsible for the conduct in the complaint. Unfortunately, Advance America has encountered complaints of this nature in the past and has posted a Consumer Alert in all of its locations regarding scam calls.
[redacted] states that she applied for a loan with a company she believed to be Advance America. The lender contacted [redacted] and advised the consumer that she needed to pay advance fees in order to receive a total loan amount of $5000.00.
We do not show any open or closed accounts in the name of [redacted]. Advance America is a brick and mortar operation that requires consumers to visit one of its centers in order to receive its products. As we do not operate in the state of [redacted] would not have been able to receive our products within that state. Additionally, our loan process does not include payment in advance of receiving a loan.

Please accept my apology for not responding in time. The company response that they are not responsible for my loan is simply not true. I contacted [redacted] and they said they are responsible for the loan. They also said the loan was made from Advance America through the affiliate of [redacted] web site.
