Dear representative of the Revdex.com, Advance Auto Sales received a copy of a complaint assigned id #***Mr*** did purchase a dodge magnum from our dealershipUpon the purchase he had some issues with the transmission called us told us it was being looked at by the dodge dealershipHe
called back a couple days later saying it needed a transmission and we told him to bring the car to us and we would look at it and see if there was anything we could do Mr*** dropped the car off to us and our shop recommended a new transmission as wellWe let Mr *** know it would be a few days to repair upon putting new transmission in said vehicle it still had the same problem we had to run several test and dianostics on vehicle to the point we had to send the vehicle out to be servicedDuring this time Mr*** had called several times we decided at that time we could not get the car returned to mr *** in a timely manor so we offered to put mr *** into something else with all monies paid to be credited to the different vehicle and he accepted several weeks later the vehicle had finally been fixed and returned to us and we put it on the lot for sellMr*** stopped by lot to make a payment saw the vehicle and wanted to trade back and we had to decline on that offerThe current vehicle he is in has already been title and taggedAt no point did we make any promises or statements to the magnum other than he wouldn't be able to trade back.Sincerely, Garnet C***

On December 8, Mr*** purchased a Pontiac Grand Prix through our Advance Auto Sales location on Pendleton Pike locationAt that time Mr*** loved the car and was aware everything sold was "as is"Mr*** left car at the side of the road we believe and the city had it
towed, which we are not in control ofWe at Advance Auto Sales went and got the Pontiac Grand Prix out of tow and paid all fees for Mr*** leaving the car at the side of the roadUpon responding to this Mr*** has since came and paid everything to have his car backWe believe he is happy with his purchase and said his mother sent in the complaintAt this time Mr*** is still driving the car. vehicle was sold as is condition without wa rranty*** had the opportunity to test drive and check out the vehicle before the purchase a nd was told a nd signed the as is paper along with the lndianas buyers guideMs*** called on or around 5/20/saying her transmission was out and she couldn't afford the a mount her mechanic wanted to fix itWe told her because shes a previous customer that we could do the repair for the tota l of dolla rs....she brought the vehicle to us on 5/paid her delinquent payment of plus the dollars .....we did the repair that day......ms *** picked up the vehicle that day.made no mention to anything being wrong days since the repair....then on 06/08/she dropped the vehicle off without our knowledge saying something was wrong again we l***ed at it and her tra nsmission lines had blown off we fixed them and had her come back pick up vehicle .....then on 06/12/two p_e_o_p Ie other than_m.s_rnhi_nsnr:Lcar:r:te_i_o_tn_the-hu-i dint

On Feb 25,2017 Ms. [redacted] purchased  2007 Ford Fusion and has paid on the vehicle great up until December 30,2017 when she returned the car. Ms. [redacted] was aware of the vehicle having a rebuilt title and signed the correct paperwork at the time of the sale. Until a week prior to her returning...

the car Ms. [redacted] has not had any issues that we are aware of at Advance Auto Sales. We here at Advance Auto Sales, have looked over the vehicle that she returned and have wrote off what Ms. [redacted] owed left on her loan for returning the car in good condition on December 30,2017. Please let us know if we can be of any more help. Tammy O[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the that is a lie. The transmission lines was brand new. I wouldn't have gotta new transmission lines if Advance Auto Sales would have put on metal transmission lines instead of rubber. I want my money refunded back to me. The repairs that I paid for did not get complete. If so the truck would have be running correctly. If Advance Auto Sales put in a new transmission then they had to take the transmission lines out. I was told by their reception that their mechanic hook the transmission lines incorrectly to the radiator that is what caused the lines to come off. I also have the tow company to agree to my statement. They are wrong. Running bad business and stealing money. I want my money back from the repairs they didn't complete. Garrett C[redacted] stated that the [redacted] was charging me to much and he will repair my vehicle for the $600. The lies of this company is unfair. Reading from previous complaints and reviews this needs to stop. response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
