The true problem here was an error in paperwork The service advisor wrote the wrong mileage in error on the actual Repair Order and Invoicing You can see from the attachments that the wrienvelope shows the actual mileage on the carYou can also see that the mileage was entered onto the repair order improperly and a round number When the service advisor wrote the repair order in our DMS system, he entered the wrong mileage The customer then saw this difference and assumed we drove the car the difference in miles that are noted The car sat in our lot over the weekend with the keys secured in the building We had no reason to even testdrive the car for the complaint with the A/C I tried explaining this to the customer, but she did not believe this and instead believed that we drove her car over miles for pleasure I offered to fill her gas tank out of courtesy, which she responded would not fix the issue and put miles back on her car I tried explaining again it was a typo, but she did not believe this to be trueWe feel poorly that we made this error and caused this customer to distrust us and feel as though we took advantage of having her car in our possession However, we simply have no reason to drive customer vehicles for any other reason but to repair them In this case, it was not necessary to drive it at all

Advance auto sales on madison avenue indianapolis sold my mother a carMy step dad was in the final stages of cancer, so she rushed and she bought a car at the first lot he went with her to that the salesman suggested as she was wanting to get him back homeShe made a deposit, and the rest was going to be paid off with her tax check which was coming the next week, and the final from her check weeks laterI went in and paid the final for her, as my step dad at this point was in a coma in his last few daysI went, got the title, which when we took to the license branch was invalidWe had to call and wait for them to fix this, which they didI did not know it, but I was supposed to pick up a second key when the car was paid offThey are insisting they gave it to me, which they did not, I only received the title, and the receipt for the paymentThe receptionist was quite rude as she insisted she gave it to meAnd also, just to let everyone know where they get their cars, the title says the car has been rebuilt

[redacted] purchased vehicle on 11/29/14 black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.25pt'>. The vehicles
are purchased from auction and put on carlot for sale.
We were not aware of her claim that the four wheel
drive did not work. She told Mr. [redacted] she took car for an
oil change and then was told by the mechanic the four
wheel drive did not work. When vehicles are sold to
customers, they are encouraged to take any vehicles to a
reputable mechanic before purchase. Ms. [redacted] did not
do this. Attached you find documentation she was given
at the time of sale with all vehicles sold AS-IS. She did not
make first car payment that was scheduled 12/13/14 so
therefore the vehicle was repossessed.
Please contact us with any further questions.
Thank you,

Roman"; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt'>This letter is in response to ID# [redacted] from a [redacted]. [redacted] who purchased a 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada from us on 9/5/14. On 9/4/14 the vehicle was test drove and was claimed to have a misfire. The vehicle was checked out and the problem was resolved. We replaced a plug and wire set to fix the original problem of a misfire. The vehicle was drove by myself, Thomas [redacted], and checked for any further misfires after the vehicle was worked on. [redacted] came to pick up the vehicle and did paper work.
All, vehicles are sold as-is, the vehicle had no further misfire upon pick-up. [redacted] called the following day (9/6/14) complaining about a similar problem. She was told to get the vehicle checked out. We resolved the original issue or she would not have purchased the vehicle on 9/5/14.
Thank You,
Thomas [redacted], Mgr.

Dear representative of the Revdex.com, Advance Auto Sales received a copy of a complaint assigned id #[redacted]. Mr. [redacted] did purchase a 2008 dodge magnum from our dealership. Upon the purchase he had some issues with the transmission called us told us it was being looked at by the dodge dealership....

He called back a couple days later saying it needed a transmission and we told him to bring the car to us and we would look at it and see if there was anything we could do .... Mr. [redacted] dropped the car off to us and our shop recommended a new transmission as well. We let Mr [redacted] know it would be a few days to repair ... upon putting new transmission in said vehicle it still had the same problem .... we had to run several test and dianostics on vehicle to the point we had to send the vehicle out to be serviced. During this time Mr. [redacted] had called several times .... we decided at that time we could not get the car returned to mr [redacted] in a timely manor so we offered to put mr [redacted] into something else with all monies paid to be credited to the different vehicle and he accepted several weeks later the vehicle had finally been fixed and returned to us and we put it on the lot for sell. Mr. [redacted] stopped by lot to make a payment saw the vehicle and wanted to trade back and we had to decline on that offer. The current vehicle he is in has already been title and tagged. At no point did we make any promises or statements to the magnum other than he wouldn't be able to trade back.Sincerely,
