The customer, ***, was delivered by our company on May 24th, and submitted a damage claim to our company's email address on June 4thOn the same day, June 4th, we informed the customer that according to our claims
policy, all claims are to be submitted in days from delivery date in written form to our company's e-mail addressAll claims received after days are subject to approval for further investigationCustomer submitted the claim on the 11th day after the delivery was completedThie claim policy is stipulated in our FAQ section on our website (http://atlanticcoastmovers.ca/faq) which is advised to each and every of our customers to get familiar with prior to confirming their booking
Afterwards we informed the customer that the claim was declined due to the lateness of its submission
Customer did not agree, due to the fact that she was not present during the delivery and did not manage to have enough time to assess the condition of all of her delivered goods within the day timeframe
We explained the customer that we can not be held responsible for the fact that she was not present thereour responsibility is to complete the move
After multiple exchanged emails, we decided to make an exception for the customer and provide her with a one time compensation of $**
And again customer did not agree with our offer and as well mentioned about missing some of the items, which we were advised about already on July 10th which is more than a month after the delivery and it's almost impossible to locate the missing items after that much time passed
We advised the customer that we will do our best and try to locate the missing items and if we do find them we will get back to her in regards to this matterThat was on July 12th and since then we never heard back from the customer
