Thank you for contacting us regarding former Advance Resorts of America (ARA) member *** ***
Mr*** listed a number of demands in the
Revdex.com letter regarding how the resort should be operatedWhile we appreciate feedback from our members, the membership is only a "Right-To-Use" of the facilities and not ownership stake in the properties or any type of decision making power regarding the operation of the resort
As stated on page of the Public Offering Statement, "Members purchase a right to use the developers privately owned resortsThe following statements pertain to the rights acquired by membership: (4) You will not have the right to make decisions on how the project or program is managed; (5) You will not have the right to vote for or against any proposed rule changes; (6) There are no scheduled meetings of the resort membersThe developer will manage the resorts and even though the member will have no direct involvement in the management, their suggestions and comments have and will continue to have an impact on the management of the resort."
Mr*** purchased a used camping/recrealion membership from another person in The amount of money paid to the other party (Mr*** claims $1000.00) was paid directly to themARA did not receive those funds
Mr*** sent us a request in writing to cancel the membership with ARA as of 9/5/The request was accepted and the membership has been cancelled

I am rejecting this response because: ARA did not investigate my concerns about the safety and maintenance issues of the grounds and docks. Passing my comments to personnel at willow bay doesn't seem very genuine regarding my complaint.
