I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I reject the businesses response because they still have yet to fully resolve the issue to my satisfaction, and furthermore they are trying to turn their mistake around and make it out to be my faultAs they stated it did rain the day following the detail job, but that in no way has anything to do with why I called them backAt the time of the detail I did notice several spots on my vehicle where they missed wiping wax off of the paint, and several areas of streaked window, but I took care of these things myself as it was really no big dealThe problem surfaced the following day (Saturday February 2015) when I noticed a heavy amount of white wax residue/haze on all of the black plastic surfaces of my vehicleThis was not due to the rain, but rather due to an inferior quality of the detail. I'm not talking just one or two small areas, I am talking every bit of trim on my truck! I called them immediately once I noticed this issue, and was told they would be back out as soon as possible to fix itA day or two go by and I finally get a call from the guy that did the job saying that he would be back out that afternoon to fix itHe never showed up nor called to say he wouldn't make itNext day comes and I call him again, same story, he said he would be back out that afternoon to fix itHe never showed up nor called to say he wouldn't make itThis happened three days in a row until we came upon the weekend where I patiently waited for a phone call on Monday March, which never cameTuesday I called and got the same story and same result againMind you this whole time I have been leaving messages with *** the owner, all of which have gone unreturned (still to this day)Wednesday March came and went and now neither of them are answering my calls, So I offered to submit my review to the Revdex.com and anywhere else I can online and then low and behold, Thursday March the detailer shows upunannounced, right as I am leaving to get some lunchWe are now one day shy of two weeks before he comes to fix the issue, if you can even call it a fixIt was done half halfheartedly at best and required me to go over all of it again on my own to ensure it was completed properly.To this day the problem is not 100% resolved, I have attempted numerous times to remove the remaining residue/haze myself without damaging the plastic trim and have been unsuccessfulMy goal for a resolution is for a full refund ($plus $tip equaling $100) and a complete detail job including removal of all excess residue/haze that is to my satisfactionIf the company does not want to stand behind their work, then they can refund me the entire amount listed above, and then cover the bill for another detail company that will remove the excess residue/hazeIf the excess residue/haze cannot be removed, then they must pay for the OEM replacement of all damaged plastic trim parts

As the owner of Advanced Auto Detailing I would like to state the following:AAD is a mobile auto detailing service.  We go to the homes or work places of our customers and complete an auto detailing service.  At the end of our service the customer checks over the automobile and...

pays our fees.  The complainer paid our fees at the time the detail was completed and made no references to the completed work being substandard or mediocre.  It rained after the job was completed.  The complainer then called and noted that a wax residue appeared.    He did not mention any notice of such a residue after the actual detailing job was completed or I am sure he would not have paid the full price that he did.     While AAD does not typically update auto cleaning after rain-days I as the owner listened to the complainer's review and agreed to schedule a worker to go out and take care of the issue.   Unfortunately other scheduling caused conflicts and the worker waited to go out to complete this update when he was in the area.   At that time the worker completed the updated service.   We are sorry it did not meet the complainers standards, but AAD did what we could to take care of the issue.

If the excess residue/haze cannot be removed, then they must pay for the OEM replacement of all damaged plastic trim parts.
