complaint ID 11941064, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Tiffanie from Oracle Lights has reviewed my complaint and said she would get back to me with a solution. I have not heard back from her as yet so I'm not accepting this response until I hear what she is willing to do to resolve my issue. You must take into consideration this is the second time I've been left with a faulty headlight unit. I cannot remove both faulty headlights and ship them back because I will have no vehicle to drive. I have asked them for a partial refund to cover the additional labour expenses I've incurred because of the faulty lights.]

Review: I purchased a halo headlight and foglight kit that I was lead to believe was easy to install. Not a signle a automotive audio and lighting shop in my area was willing to install this product due to the difficulty to install this product with out damaging the original headlight. Now I have fo pay to ship ghis product back and pay a restocking fee for a product that is now useless to me.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for shipping a restocking fee.
Business
Response:
The RMA form is available to view before purchasing. The restocking fee is only 5% and yes the customer is responsible for the cost of the return.

Review: I ordered a set of custom headlights for my vehicle. When items arrived I took it to my local professional installers and they notice a defect in the passenger side headlight assembly which had quiet a bit of condensation so I waited for a couple of days for the headlight to dry out and it didn't so about a week later I email [redacted] at Aac Enterprise Inc and told her my situation and she said that she'll send me a free bottle of silicone to fix the issue and with instructions, so I took it back to my local installers and they did exactly what she suggested in the email and still no go. I'd emailed her back and she said that there were nothing that she could but send back the headlight to get them fixed. When you're dealing with a custom product you would think that they do extensive testing before the ship anything out but I guess they didn't. So mind you I'm getting charged a labor fee each time the headlights had to get worked on. So I called and spoke to another individual at the company and he told the same thing basically they couldn't help me with a refund but just said send them the product so they can reseal it and ship back. Basically they didn't want to compensate me for my troubles and issues that I've been dealing with the headlights. If you google them you can see three negative comments about their products.Desired Settlement: I just want my refund so I can get a product that works without any of the hassles.

Review: Ordered Halo Lights from Advanced Automotive Concepts - my purchase was after 30 days and they would not refund or exchange. So I am out 197.33. How Sad! Plus, yesterday and today they told us we could get store credit, then called me back and stated I couldn't.Desired Settlement: Would like my money back but know that is not going to happen. Just want Consumers to know what they are dealing with when they do business with these people.

Review: I wanted to purchase the following item from the AAC website: [redacted]After completing the transaction process, the website sent an email six hours later stating that the item was on "backorder" for three to four weeks. Unfortunately, the bank already was billed my $330.00. Shouldn't I be billed when the item is enroute to my home? Not when the item is being produced? Why was this information not posted next to the item? It should have stated "out-of-stock," "backorder," or available in said time.Instead I have been corresponding with an associate and they have seem pretty insensitive to my situation.Below is the correspondence:Hello,We don't have the items now and it will be awhile before they will be available for shipping. I am very sorry for the inconvenience, our system doesn't post on the website that the items are on back order, however we do always email customers with a day of their purchase. If you want to cancel your order, I understand.Thank you,[redacted]P: ###-###-####F: ###-###-####-------- Original Message --------Subject: Re: AAC Order Status #[redacted]From: [redacted]Date: Tue, July 02, 2013 9:23 pmTo: "[redacted]Hi [redacted]l, If the product is not in stock, then why was my credit card billed for a part that is not in transit? That is an unfair business practice in my opinion. In any event, yes I would like my original order honored and expedited at this point. Thank youDesired Settlement: I would like the website updated and a discount on the product due to the fact that my $330.00 is being used for production.

Response:
We have cancelled your order and issued you a full refund. This is a popular item and your payment guarantees that you will get a set when they come back in stock. The money was not being used for production. The items were already being produced. In any case, we have issued a refund and if you would like to reorder when the item is in stock, please call us at ###-###-####. When you call to place your order, we will check the in-stock quantity on this item before you purchase it. We are unable to offer you a discount on this item just because of the back order status.
Review: I ordered a set of white plasma halo rings for my 2009 Infiniti G37 coupe. When I received the product, the shipping quality was extremely poor and my lights came in a tangled up mess with no protection. The instructions are contradictory and misguiding. I wasn't even sent the correct instructions for my vehicle. I was shipped the wrong product as well. The inner "halo" wasn't big enough to cover my entire headlight shroud so now there is a 2 inch section of headlight that is not covered by the halo; it looks hideous. After installing the product, the halos appear a dull green/white. The small white LED's are bound together by some green adhesive that is very apparent upon viewing the lights. The coating isn't evenly applied so it makes the lights look blotchy and spotted throughout the ring. The halos barely produce a glow similar to a cheap glow stick. I cannot tell if they are on or off when I am inside my vehicle due to the poor lighting quality. I emailed the owner of this issue and he adamantly insists the halos are supposed to be this way and that is how all of their products look. He also insisted I was sent the correct instructions, even after I sent him the PDF document showing the installation for an Infiniti G35, not at all even remotely similar to a G37. The baking process also damages the plastic headlight housings. I paid $240 for this product and am extremely dissatisfied. This is without a doubt the worst product I have ever purchased for a vehicle.Desired Settlement: Full refund, including shipping for product, as well as sending in my headlights to be repaired back to original condition.

This business has made no attempt to contact me after I filed the complaint. Before I filed the complaint I spoke with the owner of the company who acknowledged my complaint as valid, yet denied making an attempt to resolve the issue. Worst company I have ever had to deal with and without a doubt worst product I have ever received in my life. An absolute waste of money for a poorly made product. Every review I've seen online has been a bad review on the company. This is a borderline scam.
At this time, I have not been contacted by Advanced Automotive Concepts regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Review: I worked for this company a year ago and I have purchased alot of product from them . It's very unprofessional when I have a faulty product and I'm being told that the will not exchange it . It is wrong that they will not honor there own policy just because I don't work there doesn't mean that this company can give me bad treatment . If they go by the Revdex.com standards they will do what right and make the customer happy. The way they are handling customer especially [redacted] , that bad business. I will let every consumer know how terrible this company is .Desired Settlement: How ever much the product is worth.

You claim you worked here, but yet you must not have learned our warranty process. One of the reasons you don't work here anymore. Our warranty policy is very clear. Provide us with proof of purchase, and we will exchange the item for you. You did not have proof of purchase so we have no way of knowing if this item was purchased through us. If you find your receipt we will warranty the item. No receipt = No warranty for all customers / employees. Asking one of the employees to give you a new bulb is asking them to steal.

Review: Its been now about 1& half month I have not received my package shipped by AAC & the tracking number what they have provided there in no update after 8th January 2016. I am worrying about my package & upon contact AAC I didnt hear any thing positive execept they are just awaiting information from USPS. Shipment was under scope of AAC & it is thier responsibility deliver the package to final destination on time & if due to any reason there is delay than such delays should addressed to customer with concrete evidence & not simply sit back just waiting for the update from the shipping co.Desired Settlement: Now here after if they are not able to receive any update from USPS either they have to send the another package via some reputed courior companies & for that they may ask for difference in the rate or they should have to refund the money but simply sitting quite & just awaiting information from USPS is not the solution. I am the regular buyers from US & this is the horrible incident I ever faced with this type of company

Review: I sent my vehicle headlight assemblies to AAC on December 23rd, 2013 to have their custom LED halo kit installed. I received them back on January 14th, 2014 and I was immediately concerned with the work that was performed on the headlights. I contacted the company on January 15th, 2014 and spoke with [redacted] who was very unhelpful. I then asked for a manager and was put in contact with [redacted]. He too was of no help and said they work that was provided was the way that they do it. Now, to explain the work/damage that was done to my headlights, I know about cars. I specifically know about my car, which is a 2009 Pontiac G8. AAC will try to explain to you that my headlights cannot be opened without cutting them. That is false! I know, as well as many other people in their field, that these headlights can and should be "baked" open. That means the headlights are placed in an oven to soften the factory perm-a-seal, then the two piece headlight can be separated. I have numerous people in that field as well as other Pontiac G8 owners, that will agree this is proper procedure. Had I known that they were going to cut them open, I would have to them to return them immediately. That's the first thing, the second thing is the extremely sloppy work that was done to mount the LED halo rings onto the headlight. The glue placement and excess glue is completely horrible. The rings appear to be falling off. They may not actually be falling off, but they give the appearance of doing so. [redacted] claims that the reason they cut them open is to ensure that the headlights to take on any moisture. Well, this morning, practically one day after installing the lights back onto my car, I noticed that the passenger side headlight has condensation/moisture in it. My headlights are ruined! I've spoke with [redacted], [redacted] and Melissa regarding all these issues and I am getting nowhere with them. I have emails that were sent as well as pictures of all my concerns. Any help that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: I would like replacement of my headlights or the refund my money paid.

Review: On May 25,2013, I purchased 2 sets of AMBER Halo lights from AAC.($370.06) When we installed the lights, they appeared "red" in color which is not legal. In July, my son was pulled over by police and told the lights are illegal. On August 5,2013 I contacted AAC to see if we could return them for a different color (one that is legal). When discussing my predicament with the young lady, she acknowledged the AMBER lights "DO LOOK RED". I said, "so you knew they look red?" She said "yes". I said, "then will you let me return these for a different color?" She said no, I would have to buy new ones. I asked her to check with a manager, and initially they gave me a 25% off, then said they could go as much as 50% off. So, since one set was a present for my son, I spent another $99.45 for a set of lights to replace the ones they knew were illegal.Desired Settlement: In my opinion, they should replace both sets of lights at no cost. I would like a refund for the lights I bought to replace my sons lights ($99.45) and would like replacements for the other set at no cost to me. I believe that is fair. I am happy to return their lights to them that are illegal.
Business
Response:
We have examined the pictures and the color of the Amber lights. These amber lights are the correct color. We do not except used items for refund or exchange. We have offered 50% off a different color halo kit which we think is fair.

Regards,
The light marked amber is not amber at all. It bears no resemblence to an orange (which is legal) but is very "red" (which is illegal in all 50 states). I am happy to send pictures to anyone who would like to see them.
And, the young lady I spoke with on the phone from your company acknowledged the amber lights "do look red". So, the company is aware there is an issue. These lights are not usable.
I believe a refund or replacement at no cost is the only fair resolution. And, your company should only sell the amber for non-road use.

Response:
Amber is not orange. We suggest keeping a copy of the invoice in your glove compartment to show the color that was purchased. Or we have discounted a different color by 50%.
As we stated before, we have looked at the pictures provided and the amber color is correct. It is the same color that we have sold to thousands of other customers without issues.

Regards,
As I've said before twice... Your own company employee knows the amber looks red. And red is illegal. Amber is in every state an acceptable color because it IS more orange.
However, your lights are RED! And, when pulled over by the police he did exactly what you suggest. He showed the invoice. The police officer said it doesn't matter what the company has labeled the light. The lights we have are red which is illegal. We asked if amber lights are legal, and he said yes they are. But, these are red

Our offer for 50% off still stands. We are happy to give you 50% off any other color, including the color shift which allows for many different color options.

I'm not looking to pay more to accessorize these 2 vehicles. I've already paid $470 and have one set of usable lights. Again, these should be refunded or exchanged at no cost. I ordered AMBER and received RED which are illegal.
