Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I spoke with the owner again, and advised that several statements in his response were lies, or misleading He said there are two sides to every story First, I received no "quote" for the repairs I received no options before the mechanic had already done the damage to my vehicle I was assured the helicoil that the mechanic was going to use was sufficient for the repair needed I received the first amount after the work had been done, and the mechanic stated he needed to do more the following day Those are the facts The following day, the price was $more, because the mechanic 'had a hard time" doing the repair I was told my truck was fixed, and ready I left work two hours early, and paid the exorbitant price for"repair" and got in my truck The check engine light was on, and the mechanic showed me the code was indicating the same plug that had been worked on They cleared the code, and I started my truck, finding it was obviously not working correctly The owner and his mechanics got in their personal vehicles, and left the business. The mechanic's response here (the owner did not himself respond) that the misfire occurred "after the customer had put some miles on the vehicle" is misleading I drove the car from the business, to my residence, then back to the business, after leaving a message for the owner, and receiving no response, as noted earlier The boot that was missed and replaced "at no charge" was obviously a used part that the mechanic had cut in half, and the internal spring was damaged It was not the boot that had been on it with the repair kit I had attempted to use. I took my truck to another mechanic He called me after looking at the work this business had attempted, and was obviously irritated He said it should never have been allowed to leave the shop in the state it was in He said the helicoil was not installed correctly, and was not inserted to it's required depth He stated it was obviously damaged He provided pictures before and after his repair, and a quote in between He provided me the broken, and damaged helicoil this business had put in the truck He provided me the damaged boot that he had removed from my truck He was shocked that someone had attempted to drill out the broken screw (the cause of the drill bit being broken off and left under the boot) and not extracted it the way a professional would have. I spoke with the owner, Mr*** last Friday I called again Saturday, received no answer or call back, and sent a text on Sunday It is apparent he had no desire to provide the "100% satisfaction guarantee" stated on his website, which is now, evidently, no longer on line.

On December, 19, *** brought his truck in to our shop due to an attempted repair he did on his own, he tried to changing out a blown spark plug after it blew out of the head on his truckWe looked it over and gave him his optionsAt which point he chose the cheaper option which was a repair that we explained was a 50/chance of holding due to the previous repair attempt (That was made by the customer.) He was informed of that upon choosing the optionWe gave him an estimate of $originally but the repair ended up being $more due to the to the extensive damage done to the threads in the spark plug well by the customer when he tried to fix the issue himselfWe discovered when we removing the spark plug that it was put in at the wrong angle and did not thread correctly, thus causing the fire from the hot combustion gasses emitting past the threads from the combustion chamber caused the lower portion of the threads to melt on the side that was not threaded in properlyWhen he came to pick the truck up the next morning, the Lead Tech again reminded him that the repair may or may not last and that if the issue returns we would have to go a more expensive route to permanently fix the issueThe next day he came up to the shop with a misfire complaint due to a damaged coil boot that we did not catch on the prior visitWe replaced it with a new coil boot at no chargeThe owner spoke with him and reminded him that there was a more expensive repair after he listened to the vehicle running and heard the combustion gasses leaking from the spark plug well, after the customer had put some miles on the vehicleHe then reminded him of the repair that would have cost right around $800, he also reminded him that the head could be pulled if he wanted to fix it through that route, he was reminded that this was the more proper option but he declinedThe customer exited the building and has not come back or contacted us since

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer .I spoke to an associate Lisa, not the manager of the branch on MondayI was told I could transfer my massage to someone so I don't lose the serviceThis is not acceptable in the leastI have had to repeatedly push for a full refund( the only solution I will accept)I would never anyone, yet alone a friend or family member to this establishmentThey have taken $from my bank account and have provided me with no services to show for itThe fact that I can not even speak to a manager and have had to jump through hoops for a full refund that I am entitled to is insanityI am beyond disgusted with massage envy and will continue in my quest to receive a full refund. reviewed appear below.Regards,*** ***

I am attempting to send you the copy of the contract which ended on June 29, Despite, the contract ending they charged me for month of July so I got a massage for that month and then requested that they close my account I was informed that they would not close the account until I submitted a termination form I requested that they provided me with a termination form but they stated that I would have to pay for another month before they would send me a form I refused to and they just sent me a bill for another month In the interim I was offered and accepted a job in Virginia (offer letter provided) I was contacted by Massage Envy and informed them that I was leaving the state and wanted my contract terminated I requested once aging they send me their termination form and instead they sent me a past due bill I am simply requesting that they keep to the original contract and terminate my accountRegards, *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:Once again, I accepted the proposed resolution, and I have not heard from the business during the 8 days since.  I don't know if I'm just supposed to reject it until I get a refund or what.  It looks like all this guy wants is for my complaint to show "resolved" and then do nothing.  It had been over three months, and still this guy hadn't made things right.  Please put the complaint back in, unresolved.  I hope it still shows on the public side.  This business owner is dishonest, and a sham.
