Advanced Chimney Specialists

My experience with Advanced Chimney Specialists has only been VERY POSITIVE! They displayed professionalism, compassion, and high competence in my book. I work in the Medical profession, and I can tell if/when someone's workmanship is faulty or lacking...well, this chimney business ISN'T that! I am VERY SATISFIED with my experience and end product with this company. And THEY had no clue I was in Medical profession until AFTER they rebuilt my chimney! They worked with me to rebuild my chimney within a certain deadline set by my homeowner's insurance company. This chimney business was very compassionate about getting the repairs done ASAP. Again, they had NO clue I was in healthcare until after chimney was repaired and rebuilt... Thank you, Advanced Chimney Specialists! And thank you, [redacted] in the main office... :)

Very professional and courteous service. When I made the appointment on the phone, I was told the total cost I would be charged for a service guy to come out and thoroughly clean our wood burning fireplace chimney and fire box, as well as an inspection with a condition report. The service guy showed up on time and did a fantastic job of cleaning up the soot and ash that was in there.

What was really remarkable was that he did all of this work without making a mess or leaving even a smudge inside our home. Highly recommended!

Also want to add that their communication is one of the best I've encountered for local service providers. My appointment needed to be made a couple of weeks out because of it being a busy time of the year for this trade. I received a notification of the time window for my appointment a week in advance, with a reminder the day before my appointment. I wish more providers were that good with their service communication.

In Aug. of 2013 I contacted Advanced Chimney Specialists for an estimate on my cabin fireplace which was approaching 40years of age. Both [redacted] came to my cabin on a Sat. afternoon and together we reviewed options and payment possibilities. I was immediately impressed with [redacted] knowledge and advice. I was further impressed that Jan was willing to jump through hoops to help me finance what needed to be done so I could accomplish a new system and enjoy it this winter season. My plan originally was to get an estimate and wait until next year when I'd be in a better financial situation however they were most accommodating in allowing me to get the work accomplished now, pay for what I could and finish final payment after the 1st of the new year. I found both of them not only professional but most personal as well. I told them by the time they left I felt like I was dealing with family. We scheduled a new stove, new solid flue chimney complete with fieldstone to be done by mid Aug. of this year. The crew did a beautiful job as promised and It I couldn't be more satisfied. I feel confident that I will not only be able to burn efficiently but safely while enjoying the beauty of a wood fire this winter at our humble cabin in the woods. I would strongly recommend these fine folks for any and all fireplace needs... Thank You

I have done business with Advanced Chimney Specialist since 2012. They have not completed work agreed upon in 2012. I have called numerous times only to be treated badly on the phone. They admit they were in error on the work order, but do not feel any need for customer service, rather they seem to delight in being nasty. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and will look for a different chimney service. It would seem that they will take advantage of a totally disabled person including being nasty in conversation when all you are doing is asking where is the work promised and why did they not follow through with the promise to do the work.

Contacted them to do a chimney repair. Took much longer to get at the repair than originally discussed. Once they got here, they did a decent job on the repair, but during the cleanup, they spilled sealant on our walk way and driveway. Now when it gets wet, the spilled areas show bright white spots. The largest being over 2 feet x 2 feet, with a total of over 30 spots. They promised to do something about it, but that was over a year ago and many follow up emails from me.
