Answer to Revdex.com Complaint ID In response to Complaint #11106529, we agree that a wood burning fireplace insert was sold to the customer in October and the purchase price was $3911.98. We installed the insert, returned to repair the cap and faceplate, and the
unit was in use from October 17, as their primary source of heat. The next contact from the customer was not made to our business office, but rather to the owner's cell phone while he was on vacation on or about January 16, 2016. The customer stated he was cleaning his chimney and the liner became disconnected. This is an extremely unusual occurrence, so questions were asked in regard to what type of equipment he was using during the cleaning process. The owner told the customer that we would come out and check his equipment and the liner. On returning from vacation, the owner forgot to notify the office staff to schedule the customer for an appointment. On January 25, the customer called and spoke to the owner. The customer was angry that we did not call or come out to his home. The owner offered to schedule an appointment at no charge but the customer refused the offer. He said we had our chance and he was going to have someone else come out and send us the bill. We again offered to come out, but he refused telling the owner we would hear from his lawyer
