Dealing with Advanced Chimney Services was a utter nightmarePlease save yourself time, energy, frustration and money and hire any other company other than ACT!

They arrived in a timely manner as scheduled and got my chimney swept outIt's ready to keep me warm for the upcoming winter! There are some projects I want to have done at some point so I had some questions and the staff was able to answer them all

ACT came in and gave me a quote for repairThey required a $deposit, which I paidThat is the last I have seen or heard from them since May We have called, they have been polite but still not actionAt this point I would rather not see them and have my money refunded, as I do not trust their work

On 8/21/17, upon their inspection, I was told that there had been a previous fire in the chimney which had cracked the chimneyI was also told there was no liner in the chimney and one would need to be installedI was given a quote for $and was informed that if I gave them a 50% deposit, it would allow them to start the work within a couple weeksSo, I handed over a deposit for $1250, which was posted within their bank account that day
By mid-September, they had still failed to come and make the necessary fixes to my chimneyAfter several calls and texts between that time, was always told they would come the next week because they were finishing up another jobOver the span of 2-weeks, they always made an excuse as to why they couldn’t make it to my repairsOnce the work was started, it took them over a week period to fix the cracks and attempt to install the linerThe liner itself took a week because the two technicians couldn’t get it to fit properlyThey also co

My wife and I scheduled a chimney cleaning with Advanced Chimney TechnologiesAfter inspecting our chimney the reps said that we could not utilize the chimney again unless we had new panels installed in our fireboxThey said the they could complete this job but that they would need a down payment ($300+ dollars) to order the panelsWe paid the down payment and made an appointment for days laterThis company did not show up for the appointment and they did not call us to provide an explanationWe were eventually able to contact the owner and he promised on no less that other occasions to do the install, making excuses for each time this did not happenI then asked him for a refund but he said it would take a few daysWhen I called him today he hung up on me
