I was contacted by this woman *** *** supposedly referred by a happy client. I was hired to clean the carpets. I showed up on time cleaned the carpets, lock the door and put the key to the door in
the place she asked me to. I did so. For some reason she left before the job was completed. I assume she had to be somewhere. My understanding is the carpets look fine door locked and the key was where it needed to beJob completed. She calls me days later, leaves me a nasty message accusing me of ruining her dresser. I returned her call, she began Unprofessionally yelling at me insisting I or my employee damaged her dresser with some “harsh or toxic chemical”. I tried to explain to her we don’t carry anything like that in our cleaning chemicals nor did I bring anything like that into her home. I use a simple emulsifier to clean the carpets. She insisted I had some sort of harsh chemical on my hands or a rag and touched her fine dresser and it was my problem to fix. She states I refused to come out and look at it in her complaint. That is a bold faced lie. I called her in response to her initial complaint call, I offered to come out and look at it but also tried to reason with her that we just don’t carry those types of “harsh” chemicals just a simple emulsifier. Ignorant to what an emulsifier is or what chemicals we use for carpet cleaning She became enraged and continued with her screaming and ranting. She hung up on me unwilling to listen to my response. I called her right back to try and calm her down and address the issue only to have her continually demand I had some Harsh chemicals dripping off my hands or a rag and ultimately tell me she would deal with it in some other way and not to bother coming out. Again, she hung up on me. I have the phone records to prove itI also have her nasty initial message in my cell phone. Additionally, I received an email from her which I still have, accusing me of the same things she left on my phone message and also her complaining about the price of the cleaning. I touched pieces of furniture in her home. I move a chair in her bedroom and a bench seat in her entry. Nether of which have any damage to my knowledge. I was not hired to move her dresser and had no reason to touch it. She was in her rental property when we arrived clearly cleaning things with chemicals and even admits that she moves the dresser during her rental. That fact is even stated in her email to me and the complaint to you. So she’s the only person touching her dresser. Additionally she admits to using some special chemical to try and rub out the imperfection she accuses me of causing before having the dresser refinished!!I have no idea what chemicals she was using in her home to clean. Finally several days later I get an email from her telling me she had the dresser refinished and I owe her $for the repairs. Curiously enough thats just about half of what she spent on the carpet cleaning. She mentioned to me that the cost of the cleaning was more than she spent with a different company several times. Once when she handed me the check, on the phone when she complained to me and in her email she sent to me. I believe I have stumbled on a client that just wants something for nothing and is willing to smear my good name to get things for free. I never agreed to fix anything. I was not hired to move the piece of furniture nor was I given the chance to view it before she took the liberty of having it refinished.I have been cleaning carpets and upholstery since and have been in business for myself since 1998. I am owner operatedI have taken numerous classes with the *** and been certified after every one. I have never had any cleaning chemicals damage a piece of furniture. I can also submit the MSDS document for all of the products we carry. I have an impeccable record with the Revdex.com and not one complaint in all my yearsI think my work history and education speak for itself.I am very sorry for this inconvenient issue

Review: I hired this company to clean my carpets. They were referred to me. Since I had to leave and I was assured that I could leave them here to do the job and leave the key in a safe place when they left. I made it clear not to touch anything that I had not moved. To assist them I moved all small furniture and anything breakable from all surfaces. When I returned I saw immediately that one of the two workers had touched a very fine piece of furniture in my bedroom with a rag or their hands that they had chemicals. I know this was not there because that morning I put everything from the top of the dresser into the top drawer. The problem I have is when I called them to tell them the man who did my job was rude and unprofessional. He laughed at me and said I was being ridiculous. I told him he was not being professional and he never offered to come out to see where the finish had been taken off this furniture. He basically said that he did not touch the furniture without really knowing which piece I was talking about. He refused to even come out and look at it which lacks any customer service. I told him that I expected him to rectify the matter and he just said that he knew for a fact that he did not even touch a piece of furniture. How can he be so positive without coming to see what I am talking about. I want satisfaction. I tried to stop payment on the check but it had already been cashed. I rent my condo out as a vacation rental and this worker told me that one of my renters must have done it. I said that because the dresser drawers were so important to me that I moved into a locked room before I left it as a rental. I would like to know what my options are. Thank you for your assistance. Kind Regards, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to have the mark where the finish is gone repaired by a professional. I have already looked into a qualified person to come and repair the problem.
