Good Morning Ms***,
Thank goodness it's Friday! I have attached the last invoice I received from Advanced Construction. I don't know if it can become any clearer that Advanced Construction has committed "bait and switch". As I stated earlier, I had requested an itemized invoice from this company and this is all they sent to me. I was not unreasonable to request this information. Until I placed a complaint with the Revdex.com and with your office, then, that's when Advanced Construction decided to "doctor up" invoices.
Since I have placed a complaint to the various organizations in this situation, I would do myself a disservice by replying to Advanced Construction directly since I am looking to your office for a solution to this situation. Please observe their out right disrespect to your office and the Revdex.com by this action, contacting me directly instead of going through the proper channels. I hope that your office will inspect the paperwork submitted by Advanced Construction and me--the information doesn't match or add up. Ms*** kept saying, "it's what's been agreed upon". *** and *** negotiated without my involvement--they agreed among themselves what they were going to do. I did NOT get the proper invoices or paperwork previous to my signing the documents because the plan all along was to list items and services that were not performed from the very beginning, that's why things are the way that they are. Advanced Construction have stated what they are prepared to do and I have stated my position as well. What they have done is illegal, it's fraud and I am not going to allow this to happen to me. They did substandard work on my house; they attempted to do this and not be accountable at all for their actions. This is probably not the first time this has happened. They did not count on me insisting on the correct information and when things came to "light", I believe I have a moral obligation to speak out. If they insist on proceeding with their plan, I insist that their files be open to the proper institution to investigate their business practices. What they have done is so wrong.
I want you to know that I am willing to go to 10tv-WBNS with this incident; Advanced Construction must be exposed to the unassuming public. As I have stated before, I don't want this to happen to anyone else. I have nothing to lose by speaking out. I knew in my spirit that something was wrong when Advanced Construction refused to send itemized invoices from the beginning; they fully intended to perpetuate fraud and had I not done what I did, they would have gone "unchecked".
I am not going to respond to Advanced Construction directly. I will continue to pursue justice through your office.
Again, I thank you for your attention to this matter. If you would, please Madam, forward this communication to the Revdex.com. I would greatly appreciate it
Have a wonderful day and a restful weekend. Take care....,
Respectfully Yours,

Hello Ms***,
Before I proceed, I want to say, again, thank you for all you've done to attempt to get this situation settled. I'm hoping Advanced Construction will accept my proposal
It was merciful on the part of Advanced Construction NOT to file the lien against me as of yet. I AM thankful for that as well! This shows me a "willingness" on their part to at least "listen" to what I have to say. As I have stated before, I have no business reputation to uphold--Advanced Construction realize their reputation is a very precious thing; keeping it in tact seems to be a priority to them. I watch the news everyday; just last week the stories of contractors and "bad business deals" seemed to be the headlines of the day. The gentleman that took money and then didn't do the work really peaked my interest, I'm glad he was convicted. That man has been exposed and thank goodness he was; everyone knows who he is and sadly--he won't be able to work in this town again; everyone knows his name and face. The report on ABC was interesting..., it was about electricians--the "set up" by the station was eye opening for me, too! I could go on and on but I won't--I believe everyone reading this knows where I'm heading...,
If it's acceptable to Advanced Construction--I will cut a check today for $8500.00. I will go to the bank, make a copy of the check and forward it to Ms***'s business phone and email as well so the company will know for sure the check is ready for mailing--TODAY!!! I will drive the check to the post office located at the airport; if I take the priority mail envelope to the *** post office where I live--it will lay there until after 5:00pm today. I will immediately text the tracking number to Ms***'s business phone as soon as I make the transaction at the airport post office. I won't have any media come into my home; there are a lot of small things that's wrong; I really do have to hire someone to come it and make corrections. The entry door to my bathroom will have to be taken down completely and then reinstalled. No one should know when some else is going to the bathroom; it makes noise every time the door is opened and closed. The door to the bathroom closet must be installed as well, it's not there at this time. The last shelf in the bathroom closet has to be installed correctly as well--it wasn't done at all by the crew that came after *** abandoned my project. I have pictures of the paint already "cracking" in the bathroom. The pictures are "time stamped" so anyone seeing them will know exactly when they were taken. I took the pictures because frankly, I was surprised to see the paint cracking so early and it hasn't been year yet since the work was done. The caulk is already coming away from the shower doors, too.
I have to buy shelving for the kitchen cabinets because there are "half shelves" instead of shelving that runs the complete length and depth of the cabinets. The cabinet over the sink belongs over the stove--I have to use a step stool to gain access to this particular cabinet; this was not the case before the water damage. As I said before, the men that came to my home were very respectful toward me, they always spoke to me with kindness. ** told me the grout used in the kitchen is called "buttercream"; it's starting to come up as well, this information is valuable to me; I'm glad he told me the right thing. There is so much I could say but I won't take up the time now to "list" everything at this time, we would all be reading until this time next year. When Ms*** came to the house in the summer to see what I was complaining about--she told me the company was looking for workers for all areas of construction for the company; this thing with *** truly opened up everybody's eyes; it's making everybody step up their "game", so to speak and I'm thinking the company wants people that share their desire for doing "quality work" and having pride about their "craft"--and completing the job as expected; this isn't too much to ask for and this is exactly what Advanced Construction and anybody else in business should expect--the very best that's possible. So..., if Advanced Construction accepts this proposal, this matter can be settled today. They accept this payment in full and no further action taken toward me and I drop my plan of action and we all move forward. There will be no more questions about their paperwork or figures submitted by Advanced Construction or the insurance company--this can all go away--today. If this is unacceptable to Advanced Construction; I will submit a date to meet at the Revdex.com later this month. Today is the 10th day given to me to respond to this situation. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to be heard
I will check my email on the hour today to see if this is acceptable..., if the answer is "yes", I will text Ms*** immediately to let her know the process has begun, the check WILL BE MAILED TODAY!!!

I hope all is well with you and yours.  I received a letter from Ms. [redacted] of the Attorney General's office on Saturday, October 11, 2014 and I received a packet from Advanced Construction, Priority Mail on Friday, October 10, 2014.  Unfortunately, there was a substitute carrier on my route on Friday, October 10, 2014-when he arrived at my door I was required to sign for the packet from Advanced Construction; the carrier had no pen for me to sign and the packet was soaking wet when I got it, it was pouring down rain when he came to my door.  I gave the carrier a pen.  I called Ms. [redacted] this morning to inquire about the prescribed time the Attorney General's office wants me to respond to their letter which is 10 days..., stated in their letter.  However, Ms. [redacted] informed me to respond when it's convenient for me.  I intend to respond by Monday, October, 20, 2014 by the end of the business day to all parties involved.  Please advise Advanced Construction that they can expect me to respond to their office this very same day.  The Attorney General's letter suggest that I respond by electronic mail whenever I can.  I may take that advice.
Again, I am thankful for your attention to this matter and I hope a resolution will be reached soon.  Be careful out there!  Have a fabulous day and a very productive week.

I hope you received the message I forwarded to Ms. [redacted] at the Attorney General's office from Ms. [redacted] from Advanced Construction.  I usually wake up around 6:30am and I'm usually checking my email around 7:30am and honestly I don't go back to the email until the next day.  When I opened my mail on Friday morning, October 24, 2014 that's when I discovered the email from Advanced Construction.  When I saw the deadline to respond requested by Advanced Construction--of course there wasn't time to respond, I feel this was purposely done so that I would NOT have the opportunity to respond.  I am under the impression that ALL correspondance is supposed to come through your office since you are the intercessor in this case.  Am I wrong?  The terms proposed by Advanced Construction should have been directed through your office..., is that correct?

Even though this proposal seems "fair" in their minds, what's to keep them from filing again for the supplement at a later date and time?  I need a "number figure" as well.  They must make everything crystal clear to me and in writing; I don't want anymore surprises from Advanced Construction.  I mean what I said about speaking out to the media about this situation.  A picture is worth a thousand words; the camera will prove what I have been saying all along; at least 800,000 people in the Columbus viewing will see and hear about this situation.  I am not making an idle threat; I don't have a business reputation to uphold; negative exposure like this isn't good for anybody's business.

Please advise me on the proper protocol in this situation and if an agreement can be reached, do I correspond directly with the company?  I will do whatever you suggest; I need your guidance.

I thank you for your time and effort in this matter and hopefully, this will be over soon.  Take care and have a great day.

Respectfully Yours,

I hope all is well with you and yours.  I want to thank you and your office for your swift response to my complaint.  It seems that my complaint has NOT fallen on deaf ears.  I do hope we all can come to a solution that is fair and pleasing to all parties involved.  There is...

nothing greater than PEACE!Here attached is all the paperwork Advanced Construction gave to me, per the request of your office.  I told Ms. [redacted] on October 2, 2014, during our chat, that the paperwork was VERY limited.  Please observe how very limited it actually is.  If there is anything else I can do to help my case, please do not hesitate to call me.  Your interceding in this matter means everything to me.  Thank you, again, for your effort in this matter.  Have a fabulous day and a very productive week.

We refer to the letter of complaint dated September 25, 2014. Thank you for notifying us ofour
former customer's complaint. We appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback and
explanation in order to come to a resolution regarding this customer's complaints.
The following are our responses in the order Mrs. [redacted] listed her complaints in her letter. ..
Upon receiving a phone call from Mrs. [redacted] on Saturday, January 4, 2014 stating that she
had experienced a water loss and needed someone to come help, we immediately sent a staff
member out to her property to assess the damages and determine what needed to be done right
away. Since the beginning of this project we have done everything possible to ensure that our
customer was happy with the work being done and was under the impression that she fully
understood the process and our plan of action.
As it is our policy to satisfy our customers, we even went to the extent of personally walking Mrs.
[redacted] through [redacted] to ensure she had assistance with selecting items for her home
and stayed within the price range allotted. Before any repairs had begun we sat down with Mrs.
[redacted]'s and broke out her entire Insurance Loss Statement, going over her options in regards
to what she could and couldn't do.
In Mrs. [redacted]'s complaint letter she had stated that "When all of this started, I was told to
order everything and if I changed my mind, I could keep the money." This was never said at any
point in our conversation. We handle all claims the same and never once have we told a customer
this. We tell all customers that we will replace everything per the insurance scope of work (which
is based on like, kind and quality) unless the customer chooses to upgrade or add additional items
to the scope of work and would like to reallocate monies from items that he/she decides not to
replace and put towards their upgrades or additional items which will increase the value of the
home.
We were under the impression throughout the entire project that Mrs. [redacted] understood
everything that was being done and had no idea that she was unhappy until now. We have
received several emails, text messages and even a written letter stating how happy she was with
our services. We allowed Mrs. [redacted] to choose all of her replacement items and went over
what upgrades she could and could not afford if she reallocated monies. Please see the "Detailed
Repairs Invoice" document for specific details. You will find that we went above and beyond the
scope of work and in reality should have charged Mrs. [redacted]'s more than what was allotted
by the insurance company.
Mrs. [redacted]'s states that we installed kitchen cabinets of lesser quality than her cabinets
(which were identified as contractor grade) that she had previously however the cabinets selected
by Mrs. [redacted]'s and installed were identified as comparable/upgrade. Please see the
"Confirmation of Cabinetry Quality Comparison" document for specific details.
In July Mrs. [redacted] called us and requested that we come out immediately beause her
kitchen was flooding again. We arrived within a few short hours after her phone call and found
that the water leakage was coming in through her foundation walls due to a faulty drainage
system. Her gutters are pulled from the fascia and are also not sloped appropriately, which was
causing excessive overflow and dumping water down the foundation walls. Due to the age and
condition of the foundation walls, water seeped through into her kitchen. The foundation walls
have cracks on the exterior rear and left elevation, which repairing was not a part of our scope of
work.  Our men extracted the water and sprayed antimicrobial at no charge.
We typically would charge a flat rate trip charge plus time and materials for going on a call like
this. Mrs. [redacted] stated in her letter that "The representative went outside to make a call. I
don't know what that was about but I was told there was no charge for this visit." I did in fact go
outside to place a call with my supervisor to update him with the situation and asked if we could
give her a break on this Emergency Service Call since she would have to hire someone to take care
of her drainage system and seal her foundation walls. We were never responsible for her
foundation walls. The only thing we were responsible far was sealing the interior and painting.
When selecting Mrs. [redacted]'s bathroom tile for her floor and walls, it was agreed at [redacted]
[redacted] that she was going to use the same tile on the walls as the floor, that is exactly what we
ordered to be done. We would have been happy to install whatever she would have liked that was
within her budget allotted however nothing was said about the tile until after the installation was
complete.
The big mirror in her bathroom was hung in the exact location as it was previously which was to
the right of the medicine cabinet, above the toilet. We have not been told this information until
now or else this would have been done in our find punch out.
As Mrs. [redacted] stated, "It took so long for them to finish the bathroom - very little progress
made daily. I did not give Advanced Construction a key to my house." We start work at 7:30 am,
when our customers do not allow us to have access to their homes at a reasonable hour, it
typically wilI take longer to complete projects since we are unable to work a full day. Had we
gained full access we could have knocked her bathroom project out quickly.
Per the email sent on Friday, August 1, 201 4, Mrs. [redacted] was happy with our labor
employees after they completed her final punch out list. Our representative went over the entire
list with her and checked off each item as they verified with her that she was happy. She even
wrote a nice note at the bottom after signing off that we were complete. See "Final Punch Out
Sign Off" documents for details. We were not aware until after checking up on the final payment
status that she was not happy.
The Insurance Representative and myself did walk the property after the loss and assessed the
damages and quality of current items which were to be replaced. The property owner does not
get to dictate what they want before we agree on payment. The insurance company will only pay
for what was there: Like, Kind and Quality. Myself and the Insurance Adjuster tried to explain
this to Mrs. [redacted]'s several times, and were under the impression that she understood this.
Mrs. [redacted]'s was provided with a copy of her insurance loss statement by her adjuster.
Regarding invoicing: When dealing with an insurance restoration project, typically our invoices
state "Water Loss Mitigation or Repairs". The details are listed on the Insurance Scope of work,
on which we base our entire project. However I have broken down her entire project on a revised
"Detailed Repairs Invoice". I encourage you to read this as well.
I have enclosed documentation which supports everything listed in this letter. After reviewing
our packet and all the work that we have done, you will find that we more than did what was
required or asked of us.
We would be happy to supply Mrs. [redacted] with a new [redacted] Home Security Yard Decal Sign
which she states was broken by one of our team members. We wil have ordered and shipped to
her house after we receive final payment.
Mrs. [redacted] states that we broke a glass shelf in the medicine cabinet the night of the
demolition. We have not heard of this till now, so all that we require is a photo of this and the
size of the shelf. We are happy to replace this for her after we receive final payment.
We are requesting that Mrs. [redacted] pay us in full by October 20, 2014 or else we will be forced
to file a lien on her home and take all necessary legal actions. We will not be refunding Mrs.
[redacted]'s any money.
Please call us during our office hours with any questions or concerns.
Yours sincerely,
Marketing Director,

Roof was performed 8/2012. 2 year warranty was voided 12/20/12 due to high winds. High winds also recorded 8/31/13. Warranty letters were sent out. Original 2 year warranty expired 8/2014.We have a digital CRM system that we use and I have correspondence and phone calls dating back to 2013. We have...

not received multiple phone calls from this client. I have attached the agreement. Our 2 year labor warranty extends up to 55MPH winds. I have attached NOAA weather information. Wind speeds in Stlouis reached greater than  67MPH December 20, 2012 and high wind speeds were again reported 8/31/13. The labor warranty was void because of the excessive wind speeds.Several damaging HAIL reports have been documented since the original installation. We would encourage the customer to contact their insurance company to file a claim. They can use any high wind dates as a date of loss. Please let me know if we can provide you with any additional information.

We have not, but we are still within our lien rights and have provided her with all sufficient legal notices.
If she would like to reach a resolution, we would be happy to discuss.
Thanks,
Advanced Construction

Good Morning Ms. [redacted],
Thank you so much for providing me with information.  Before I consent to proceed further, I need to know if Advanced Construction filed the lien against me.  If they have, this indicates to me they have no desire to work out a solution that is acceptable to either party.
Please let me know as soon as you can manage it.  Again, I appreciate all that you do.  Take care and have a fabulous day.
 Respectfully Yours,

November 10, 2014
Hi Ms. [redacted],
In response to your latest email to Ms. [redacted]:
You, Ms. [redacted] are correct in saying that we are willing to hold off on filing the lien against your property providing both parties come to an agreement. If we cannot come to an agreement then the lien will be placed and we will take all legal actions necessary to collect the money owed to Advanced Construction.
You, Ms. [redacted] signed a Certificate of Completion, which certifies that you are in fact happy with all work done and agreed that the project is complete in its entirety. Advanced Construction works hard to uphold our reputation as being ethical, honest and reasonable. We are very aware that other contractors execute “bad business deals” by taking money and not performing. However, your libel implication that this is how we conduct business is an inappropriate and false statement. Should you decide to contact a media source to write up a review, we will not only stand by our words but we will also provide comprehensive documentation and evidence to validate our case. In addition, we will take all necessary legal actions in regards to defamation by implication should they even consider your allegations.
Advanced Construction will not accept your offer to settle at $8,500.00. The total amount that you, Ms. [redacted] still owe Advanced Construction is $16,427.88. This total consists of $15,311.55 as detailed on the Repairs Invoice, $20.00 as detailed on the Mitigation Invoice and $1,096.33 as detailed on the Supplement Invoice. Not only have we done all work requested each time we have been called out, we have only received $500.00 towards all repairs done and have paid all laborers and material suppliers in full for the work involved on this project. Payments can be made by check or credit card, or any combination of both.
We hope that you will remit payment in full immediately to avoid incurring any further cost i.e. attorney fees, interest charges (as stated in your contract and on your invoices), etc…
Advanced Construction is able to justify all charges involved on this claim and has provided you with a detailed invoice. We have gone above and beyond for you on this claim and will not accept anything less than what is proposed in this letter.
As stated in our previous response:
We tell all customers that we will replace everything per the insurance scope of work (which is based on like, kind and quality) unless the customer chooses to upgrade or add additional items to the scope of work and would like to reallocate monies from items that he/she decides not to replace and put towards their upgrades or additional items which will increase the value of the home.
We were under the impression throughout the entire project that you, Mrs. [redacted] understood everything that was being done and had no idea that you were unhappy until now. We have received several emails, text messages and even a written letter stating how happy you were with our services. We allowed you, Mrs. [redacted] to choose all of your replacement items and went over what upgrades you could and could not afford if you reallocated monies. Please see the “Detailed Repairs Invoice” document for specific details. You will find that we went above and beyond the scope of work and in reality should have charged you, Mrs. [redacted]’s more than what was allotted by the insurance company.
As stated in all correspondence to you, Ms. [redacted], Advanced Construction has always been willing to take care of any remaining issues or concerns that you have in regards to the agreed scope of work and will continue to uphold our word.
You stated that “there are a lot of small things that’s wrong” still, even after you have signed the certificate of completion and on several occasions stated that you were happy with all work done. Each time we receive a letter/text message/email from you, there is another issue that you wish to address which was not listed previously or spoken of while we were onsite for repairs. Advanced Construction is willing to give you two options at this point.
Option 1:
Even though you have already signed the Certificate of Completion, Advanced Construction agrees to send two skilled laborers for eight (8) hours, one full day (our skilled laborers must have access to your home during normal business hours: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm) to correct only the outstanding issues listed to date.
§ Detach and Reset Entry Door to Bathroom
§ Bathroom- Linen Closet Door: There was never a door installed on the linen closet located inside the bathroom, only a roll-up blind therefore Advanced Construction will only reattach the blind. (I have before photos to justify this.)
§ Detach and Reset the bottom shelf in the linen closet.
§ Touch up all areas where paint may be cracking.
§ Re-caulk the shower doors.
§ Kitchen Cabinets: You, Ms. [redacted] selected the kitchen cabinetry set which was installed in your home. Advanced Construction is not responsible for providing different shelving outside of the standard shelving which comes with the purchased units, however Advanced Construction agrees to install the shelving for you if you purchase the materials and have them onsite the day we are scheduled to perform all repairs.
§ Detach range hood.
§ Detach the Satin White 30"x18" wall bridge cabinet from above range and Install above kitchen sink.
§ Detach the Satin White 30"x12" wall bridge cabinet from above kitchen sink and Install above range.
§ Reset range hood.
§ Scrape and Remove Buttercream (color) grout on kitchen floor where breaking up and apply new Buttercream grout.
§ Purchase and Deliver a new [redacted] Home Security Yard Decal Sign
§ Providing you, Mrs. [redacted] supply us with the proper dimensions for the shelf in the bathroom medicine cabinet, we will install this as well.
The project will be inspected by the original account manager, [redacted] prior to start and again upon completion before laborers leave property to ensure all work has been completed to 100% satisfaction by both parties involved. Advanced Construction will require that a second Certificate of Completion be signed and will be sent directly to the Revdex.com.
Option 2:
Advanced agrees to deduct $1,300.00 from your current invoiced amount. This total includes labor and materials to complete the repair items listed above. The total amount that you would then owe Advanced Construction would be $15,307.88. If you cannot agree to either of these options then Advanced Construction will be happy to meet at the Revdex.com to resolve this matter through Mediation.

Dear Ms. [redacted],     I trust you had a restful weekend.  I had an opportunity to go through the packet Advanced Construction put together for inspection.  I am the kind of person that will praise and compliment anyone or anything when warranted.  I gave "glowing" praise to Advanced Construction because from the beginning--the job was excellent.  The workers were always respectful toward me and for that I am very thankful.  But it's not how you start..., it's how you finish!  When [redacted] walked off the job he abandoned the project and actually the contract became null and void at that time.  I got after him right after he did that; there is no way I would let him walk away like that and not ask him why--which is what I did and he couldn't give me a reason.  After he walked off my project, [redacted] was working in Pennsylvania; he said he would get my things done on the weekend when he wasn't working in Pennsylvania.  I call myself giving him an opportunity to make things right.  As stated earlier [redacted] did come back twice--it was like pulling teeth to get him to do anything.  When that didn't work; I informed Ms. [redacted] of what happened; she came out and then there were two more people sent out.  It was like a comedy of errors; they came and left in a "heated" rush as well.  After the last two gentlemen left, no one in an administrative position came out to inspect the work that was done or the lack thereof.  After [redacted] and ** left, I discovered the fixture in the hallway was put in backwards, the walls in the bathroom weren't completed..., sanded down and painted; the bathroom is in worse shape than it was before Advanced Construction came to my house.  The handles are crooked on the drawers in the kitchen, they are not centered.  The cabinets in my kitchen now have "half shelves", the shelves don't run the length and depth of the cabinets like the ones I had.  So, for Advanced Construction to say I have an "upgrade" is certainly not true; I don't have the same storage space.  I was allowed to choose my appliances, no questions asked but when it came to my cabinets it is just like Ms. [redacted] said--what was allotted to spend for other things.  The operative word here is "allotted".  I was walked through [redacted] to make sure I didn't go over budget or what was "allotted".  As I said before, I had nice things; the picture submitted by Advanced Construction proves that the cabinets held up very well after taking on all that water.  The cabinets didn't fall apart, they were "classic", real wood faces on them.  I observed in the paperwork submitted by Advanced Construction states "necessary repairs" made.  It WAS necessary for Advanced Construction to put my house back "at" or "in better condition" than what they left it.  I don't appreciate this company saying they did "necessary" repair-renovation. Please refer to the pictures sent showing what the bathroom looks like today versus what it looked like before the walls were knocked out.

The paperwork in the packet Advanced Construction prepared is not the same paperwork I have.  The invoices appear to be complete in their packet but this was not the case concerning the ones that were sent to me.  The paperwork in the Advanced Construction packet is dated January 23, 2014; the paperwork sent to my computer by Mr. [redacted] is dated April 29, 2014; the figures in both set of paperwork is different.  The paperwork in Advanced Construction's packet list services and materials that were not provided; that is my issue.  This is my first opportunity to see exactly what was done and what the fees were to perform the tasks. Again, Advanced Construction did not provide/perform the following:
*There is no wallpaper in my bedroom-they asked for money for this.
*There is no border in my bedroom-they asked for money for this.
*There was no tape used when the walls were painted in my bedroom
*The baseboards were already finished-no stain was used in my bedroom-they are asking for money for this
*There are no knobs on the closet doors-knobs were NOT picked out or purchased for the closet doors
*The original closet doors were not reset in my bedroom
*The window seal is still black in my bedroom-it was NOT painted or stained-they are asking for money for this
*There are "sink holes" along my bedside; wood was only put in the space where the exit door was cut out
*All the sockets were put in upside down but were corrected.
*The molding was not put back on one of the closet doors entries
*There is absolutely NO insulation in my house; Advanced Construction did not put any insulation in my house.  The
drywall that was in my bedroom had a silver lining on it (built in insulation?); Ms. [redacted] told me the drywall I
   had was no longer manufactured.
In my kitchen:
*There was wood paneling in my kitchen; there is NO wood paneling in my kitchen; they want money for this
*There were wood baseboards in my kitchen; there are NO baseboards in my kitchen
*There are no corner moldings in my kitchen, except for the ledge at both kitchen windows; they want money for this
*There was border in my kitchen; there is no border in my kitchen; they want money for this
*There is no backsplash at the kitchen sink; they want money for this
*They NEVER took the ceiling light/fan down during the renovation of my kitchen; they want money for this
*Only one light was put up in the kitchen, the one over the kitchen sink; no other fixture was addressed in the kitchen
*The wood window sill was NOT stained or painted; it still looks the same as it did before the water damage
*You can see the spots where the knobs and handles were removed and reattached instead of getting me new "faces"
for the doors and drawers on the cabinets; it costs them less money to that instead.  Would they want this look for THEIR KITCHEN?
*There was no stain used anywhere in my house for baseboards or anything else.
In my bathroom:
*There were 3 types of tile in my bathroom; the baseboards were ceramic tile; there is only 1 kind of tile now
*There was wallpaper in my bathroom; there is NO wallpaper now; they want money for this
*There was border in my bathroom; there is NO border in my bathroom today, they want money for this
*There is no bifold door in the bathroom; they want money for this service that was NOT performed
There is no door to the bathroom closet.
*The door scrapes the top of the entry way; it was set too high, it takes two hands sometimes to open & close it
*I put the bottom shelf back in the bathroom closet; it wasn't done before [redacted] and ** left
*The original doors to the bathtub/shower were NOT replaced
The same towel bar, soap dish, original toilet and sink were used.  Besides the shower and handle used in the bathtub and the new faucet I purchased, all other original fixtures were used
In the laundry room:
*There is no tile in this room
*There are no new shelves in the laundry room
*Copper plumbing was replaced with plastic tubing
*The original doors to the laundry room still remain
There was no carpet in the hallway downstairs.
*I need to address the issue about the water coming into the kitchen.  The area Advanced Construction referred to in their communication is the gutter coming away from the roof/house located at the back window of my living room.  It's true, the gutter is coming away from the corner of the house--still, no water has come into the living room; you would think that it would.  According to Advanced Construction, the water traveled to the kitchen instead.
As I said before, Advanced Construction didn't do anything in my house for almost 4 weeks after they started and then when they did return..., my project didn't get the attention I felt it deserved; the mistakes that were made seemed to never get "corrected".
Please compare the paperwork given to me by Mr. [redacted] and the paperwork submitted by Advanced Construction; some of the figures submitted by Advanced Construction, in some cases, is higher than those submitted by Mr. [redacted].  I am seeing this paperwork submitted by Advanced Construction for the first time.  The invoices you see now were not given to me for inspection, nor were they constructed like this.  When I received the paperwork dated 4/29/2014 from Mr. [redacted]; this was my first time seeing this as well.  I decided to go "line by line" with all paperwork involved and it's totally amazing the differences in each.  If I had seen this before now, there is no way I would have ever signed anything.  This is a case of "bait and switch", I don't care how they dress it up.  It's almost like buying a car..., you don't find out what's wrong and you aren't aware of "mechanical errors" until you've signed the contract and driven away--except in this case; it's my house!  This is why I'm speaking up about this now; the way all of this was done is foul, unethical and misleading.  It's wrong, on so many levels for Advanced Construction to believe they are entitled to money for goods and services they DID NOT PROVIDE, I don't care what they and the insurance company agreed on.  I could go on but for now I will pause.  I wanted to respond to the communication sent by Advanced Construction dated 10/14/2014.  Very shortly your office will be receiving the paperwork requested by Ms. [redacted] of the Attorney General's office today; today is the prescribed date set by that office--today marks the 10 day period from the receipt of their letter.
