MsGarcia:Attached is another fraudulent claim that Suncoast just sent my insurance again, February 10, They keep submitting on work they have never performed The tooth was pulled--it has no crown build up-post or crown They need to stop billing my insurance who I have now filed a grievance with I have also filed a claim with the American Dental Association Please see attached

Please see my attached letter as to what steps were takenWe not only refunded the patient $but we also called Metlife(see Ref # attached) and were told since we didn't complete root canal we needed to resend a claim and change code to incomplete endoIn the mean time, we ALSO FULLY REFUNDED metlife $for the root canalWe sent a check by certified mailWe spent hours upon hours working on this patient to try and save her toothThere is an ADA code to properly bill when endo(root canal) is not completedWe did what we were instructed to do per Metlife and we also notified the Dental Board of our actions and they recommending a non-disciplinary letter of concern just stating we can't retain funds for services not completedWe have done everything we were told to do and in no way did we ever do anything fraudulentThank you for your time in the matter

We saw patient on 9/22/to root canal and crown tooth #Doctor removed decay and prepped for crownRoot canal was very difficult and patient was in chair from 10:30am-2pmDoctor was not able to finish root canal so we placed a temp crown and scheduled patient another appointmentOn 9/30/
patient came back to finish crownShe was still in discomfort so we didn't finish root canal but did take final impression for crown and sent to lab to fabricate crownPatient came in on10/14/and more of tooth #fractured so we were unable to save tooth and we needed to extract toothExtraction was completed that dayPatient upset that we didn't refund her for root canalI spoke with Metlife and said because of the work we did do to resumit to them for ADA code *** incomplete endo for reprocessing.Which we did ref #*** and are waiting for responseAs far as patient stating we filed a claim for date of service 9/12/this is simple not truePatient 1st visit was 9/22/Please see attachedAlso we submit claims as we see patientsAs far as submitting a claim on 12/07/this as well not trueLast date of service we submitted was 10/21/Thank you for your time

We not only refunded the patient $405.00 but we also called Metlife(see Ref # attached) and were told since we didn't complete root canal we needed to resend a claim and change code to incomplete endo. In the mean time, we ALSO FULLY REFUNDED metlife $455.00 for the root canal. We sent a check by certified mail. We spent hours upon hours working on this patient to try and save her tooth.
