Be aware that after the work is done, you will be left to clean the cloudy film left behind as well as the dust the process causes It took about an hour to clean the mess on the floor....had to let the shower 'seal' for days...and then it took lots of elbow grease to get my shiny tiles back I had hoped that once the work was done, I would be amazed at the finished result....instead I had to clean/shine myself For the money, I feel the 'clean and shine' should have been a part of THEIR work

I recently bought an older home in the triangle and discovered the the tile in my kitchen had not been sealedI reached out to Carolina groutseal in which I recieved a free estimate! The gentleman was very professional and advised that with the right color grout my kitchen floors would be restored! I was extremely pleased with the work that the company provided I thought I may have to replace my kitchen floor but with the right color grout my floors looked brand new! I had not had the grout in the kitchen professionally cleaned in several years I was given a very reasonable quote in a short time On the scheduled date, the team showed up on time and completed the job sooner than expected The before and after comparison was amazing The did a great job!

I had Carolina Groutseal come out in July, 2014 and clean and reseal the groutlines in our shower stall and around the tub. After the workmen left, I noticed that there was still grout missing or coming out of the floor of the shower. We had let the grout seal "cure" for at least 3 days. I also noticed after they left, that one of the workers had cracked and also damaged a tile on the shower floor. When I called the owner to come out and look at the work, he put more mixture in the grout lines, but made "no comment" nor offered to fix the cracked and chipped tile. I was so aggravated, that I did not call him back. It has been a year since the work was performed, and the shower floor has gone back to looking like it did before the work was performed. I have followed all cleaning instructions. I do not recommend this method of clean and sealing grout, as it does not work. I now have to have it redone and worse yet, tile repaired or replaced.

They recently did work on two of our bathrooms, they were professional in all respects; timely arrival, worked efficiently, quality work, and left the bathrooms clean and orderly. I recently bought an older home and, despite efforts to clean with a variety of products, I could not get the shower grout/calking to look clean. Additionally, the tile floor also looked old/worn. The shower and floor look new! I was also reassured that he would come back out if any issues arise in the future. I would recommend this company.

Review: I brought my computer with the assumption that I was getting a free estimate based off cry wolf's recommendation. The company performed their analysis and provided an estimate of 700.00 to extract data. I told them that is outrageous and I wanted to pick my laptop up so they decided to give me a deal of 350.00 which I assumed that was a good deal, boy was I wrong. First off I had to wait a week for and a half for a call back to pick up my laptop and data, they then told me I had to provide a hard drive to upload the data. I was a little upset about that but did not worry about it. So I paid and brought a hard drive so they can upload my data as well as picked up my laptop. after having to deal with such unprofessional personnel as well as an unorganized process for checking out it made me unwilling to bring repeat customers as I deal with computers on a daily basis. But what really took the cake is when I plugged my laptop to power it I noticed my hard drive as missing., that raised a big red flag so I called them immediate to let them know I did not authorized the removal of my hard drive because that can possibly break the hard drive . I had to take the time to pick up my hard drive and dropped my laptop off to install my hard drive. So after the having to pick up my laptop I plug it in and noticed they installed a different hard drive then my original. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY ATO ANYONE, GO TO A DIFFERENT DATA RECOVERY COMPANY OTHER OTHER THAN ADVANCE DATA SOLUTION, LLC!!!!!!Desired Settlement: Refund due to unauthorized removal of hard drive, to pay for a new hard drive that was broken because of unauthorized extraction of hard drive

First Point:

CUSTOMER:

“First off I had to wait a week for and a half for a call back to pick up my laptop and data…”

September 9, 2013 at 10:57AM: Drive was brought in for a free Evaluation

September 11, 2013 at 9:29AM: Customer called to ask for status update. Customer was notified the Evaluation was still under progress and he would be notified as soon as it was completed.

September 12, 2013 at 1:47PM: Customer was contacted via phone for Evaluation on hard drive. Then an agreement was made to go forward with the data recovery effort at a specific price. Customer said he would be in the following week and would contact us.

September 17, 2013at 9:50AM: 5 days after previous call, customer had not contacted us, we contacted him to schedule a Data Check. No answer, left message to call us back.

September 23, 2013 at 10:15AM: Customer did not return our call previous call. Customer was contacted again to schedule Data Check, at that point customer made an appointment for October 4, 2013 at 1pm.

Second Point:

CUSTOMER: “…they then told me I had to provide a hard drive to upload the data.”

ADS: Customers Original hard drive was found to have bad sectors/media damage and not usable again. When a customer has a damaged hard drive it is not usable anymore and it is then we recommend to them to bring an external hard drive so the recovered data can be transferred to it.

Third Point:

CUSTOMER: “I plugged my laptop to power it I noticed my hard drive as missing., that raised a big red flag so I called them immediate to let them know I did not authorized the removal of my hard drive because that can possibly break the hard drive.”

ADS: Customer was notified that he would need a new hard drive since the Original hard drive had bad sectors/media damage and would not be stable to use again. Customer argued it only had OS errors. It was explained to customer this was due to sectors/media damage. Also, it is standard practice to remove a hard drive from computer unit to perform the hard drive analysis. This is always explained to customers before any work is performed.

Fourth Point:

CUSTOMER: “…after the having to pick up my laptop I plug it in and noticed they installed a different hard drive then my original”

ADS: As it was explained after the evaluation phase, the original drive that was inside the computer had media damage/bad sectors and would not be usable anymore. Then customer returned with laptop and we re-installed the original bad hard drive back into his computer. Concerning the statement made by the customer, “installed a different hard drive then my original”, we are unsure why this comment was made. The only hard drive that was installed into customers computer was the original bad drive and no other.

Fifth Point:

CUSTOMER: “…after having to deal with such unprofessional personnel as well as an unorganized process for checking out it made me unwilling to bring repeat customers as I deal with computers on a daily basis.”

ADS: We have over 20 years of experience providing data recovery services national and world wide, with such time invested we've been able to fine tune at a streamline process, making for extreme professionalism and efficiency. We have tens of thousands of customers that can attest to it.

Concerning the $350.00 dispute, this was for data recovery services rendered, and verified and ok'ed by the customer before any kind of payment was made. Again, Before a customer pays one cent for our data recovery services the customer has full opportunity to review the recovered data and this is a protocol that is followed with all customers. And this was the same protocol that was given to our customer.

Concerning the hard drive in question, after thorough examination of hard drive by our engineers, it was found to have media damage/bad sectors, a condition that develops over time, usually from rough handling of a computer. This was a hardware failure and not a software failure as indicated by the user.
