Review: On September 4th, I visited [redacted] at Advanced Dental [redacted]. He performed two [redacted] on me that day.My total cost was just over $7,000. On that day, I agreed to have roughly $2,300 put on a [redacted] account. The balance was to be paid off in cash; he & I had an agreement that I would paint his office again for $5,500 (I had painted the purple office the first time about 5 years ago).On September 9th, when I returned for the [redacted], Dr. [redacted] charged the balance without my consent to my new [redacted] card. This additional charge of roughly $4,700 was without my agreement.Almost 2 months later, I have heard nothing about painting the office. However, our personal barter agreement is inconsequential to this matter.The issue is that this Dr. [redacted] added the second, much larger amount to my [redacted] bill without my full consent. I did not, and could not possibly afford to, agree to such an additional fee on a credit card.I believe that Dr. [redacted]'s actions were highly unethical, unprofessional, and downright conniving. I do not know how his other patients are billed; but I sincerely hope that there are legal and/or monetary repercussions for Dr. [redacted]'s reprehensible behavior.Desired Settlement: Since Dr. [redacted] placed this unauthorized charge on the card he convinced me to open, the only senesible settlement would be that the second charge be removed.I am currently waiting for [redacted] to investigate my "disputed payment", but the [redacted] representative informed me that a decision would take at least two billing cycles (2 plus months).Two months from now is not acceptable. This unauthorized charge needs to be removed from my account.
