The pre-paid three year contract for alarm monitoring services has not been honored I received a letter indicating service would be stopped in AprilIn December 2013, I signed a three-year contract with this business as an authorized dealer of ADT. I prepaid for three years of service. This week I recieved a letter fron ADT indicating that the business relationship between the business and ADT had been dissolved and the current monitoring services would cease. I attempted to contact the business and was unsuccessful as all numbers called were disconnected or transferred to ADT. ADT was not willing to assist and said I needed to contact the business which is unreachable.Desired Settlement I am requesting a refund for the remaining 22 months of service at $54 per month which is the monthly service charge quoted in my contract. You send the refund check to my mailing address previously providedBusiness Response /[redacted]/Advance Direct Securities is not able to satisfy its comittment to this butADS has worked out an arrangement with ADT where ADT will monitor and service the customerConsumer Response /[redacted]/I received a letter from ADT indicating the monitoring will be disconnected on 24 April 2015 and that I would receive no further communication from ADT. I contacted ADT and spoke with Billing, Customer service and customer relations and they all said they cannot help me and that I needed to Contact ADS. However, all numbers provided to contact ADS are not in service. So if ADT will not assist me and I cannot contact ADS, I have requested the refund. ADT has indicated that they will only maintain my service if I sign a new contract. However, I have previously pre paid ADS for 36 months of service but have only received 14. Therefor I am still requesting a refund.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)ok if that is the case, please provide me with a contact number for ADT where I can confirm this information. As I indicated earlier I was on the phone for over 2 hours last Friday with multiple departments attempting to resolve this with ADT adn was told by each department that they were unable to assist me. So if you can provide a number I will attempt to confirm this information. ThanksFinal Business Response /[redacted]/"Servicing your account" does mean that ADT corporate will monitor your security system for the full term of the contractat no additional cost. They have accepted your contract as-is, and you will not need to sign an additional contract.

American Incentive Group failed to honor my gas vouchers that I have sent in to them from Oct. 2014 to January 2015. I followed all rules and regulations. Mailed first voucher on Oct. 6 ,2014 the second on Nov. 7, 2014 the third on Dec. 6 , 2014 and the last on Jan.6, 2015. The address on the voucher was to American Incentive Group, PO Box 1391, Aberdeen, NC 28315 that was where the vouchers were sent to.Desired SettlementI would like the American Incentive Group to honor their original agreement and send me the certificates for the gas vouchers. Thank you.Business Response /[redacted]/This complaint was forwarded to our Member Services Director. She has researched this matter and will request a check to be sent out within the next 3 business days.Sincerely,[redacted]Director of Billing

Authorized dealer has been removed from ADT's list and ADT won't honor the prepaid contract after 1.5 years and 1.5 years remaining (~$750). I purchased a 3 year contract with ADT (through one of their authorized dealers - #[redacted]) on 8/10/13. The total cost on 8/10/13 was $1,700 and was paid in full on 8/10/13. According to my [redacted] account, my account # is [redacted]. This was after the salesman had promised to get me out of my current contract for no termination charge or he'd cover it (which he later could not do after he'd processed my funds) and give me two $100 gift cards (which he did not do either). I understand now that this was NOT ADT, but a company ADT had authorized to use their logo and products. On March 26, 2015, I received a letter from ADT saying they were no longer affiliated with that dealer and that my service would be terminated on April 24, 2015 unless I set up a separate contract with ADT and paid for another 3 years. This would essentially forego 16 months of my prepaid contract (~$750) and add another monthly amount depending on what level of service I chose. The original dealer cannot be contacted as the number provided in the letter did not work. I searched online for a different number and found one with an identical mailing address (http://www[redacted]/). Upon calling them, they had no knowledge of my account and transferred me back to ADT. Apparently, ADT did not purchase my contract from this dealer and had only received a portion of my prepayment each month saying I have never been an ADT customer. They were unwilling to credit my account with any of the funds remaining on my contract even though they acknowledged that I had paid upfront saying they could not be held responsible for a company they'd previously authorized to sell their products. In exchange, they continued to tell me about the importance of signing up for an additional contract. Desired SettlementIf I can't get the prorated money I paid refunded, I'd at the very least like a credit for the service to ride out the final 16 months of my contract. To think that I wouldn't associate ADT with this and would sign up with them by signing a contract for another 3 years of $45/month is a bit naive. Business Response This customer has a service contract with the following company:ADVANCED DIRECT SECURITY LLC[redacted]ADT only monitors this account. Please forward this on to the correct company. Consumer Response [redacted] has been very helpful and responsive. I consider this case resolved. Final Consumer Response Final Business Response "I spoke to the customer several times throughout this situation and he was informed of our response. He is very happy with our diligence in resolving this matter. I have checked the ADT dealer site and he is still active and in good standing for the remainder of his 3 year contract. I called him again today (5/11/15) to confirm the response I would send to the Revdex.com and he approved. He thanked me for my help and also taking the time to explain everything to him clearly. [redacted]"

I paid for a 3 year security contract in June 2014 and they stop paying ADT for monitoring effective 4/24/2015. On 6/16/2014 Advanced Direct Security LLC installed a residental security system at my home on [redacted] I paid for a 3 year contract with ADT monitoring ($1584.18). I have been notified by ADT that this contract was not forwarded to them and the monitoring service will be terminated on 4/24/2015. To retain a home security system it will be necessary to contract with another contractor, Safestreets, and sign another contract with monthly fees.Desired SettlementSince it has been less than a year since the contract was signed, I feel at least 2/3 of the payment I made should be refunded.Business Response /[redacted]/Advanced Direct Securities had major business issues and was unable to preform as the customer claims. However ADS has been able to work out an arrangement with ADT to service the customer directly. ADS does not have any assists to reimburse the customer but the customer will be serviced by A DT going forward.Consumer Response /[redacted]/ADT informed me that their service is not paid on my account past 4/24/2015. They stated ADS did not forward my contract and payment to them for the 3 year period.Final Business Response /[redacted], nothing has changed since the last response. Someone did reach out to you to complete the missing information from your contract so your account could be sent to ADT. This has been done.ADT will be taking over the management of your account moving forward. SafeStreet is another dealer that has nothing to do with your account other than a desire to help facilitate communication with ADT. You DO NOT NEED TO SIGN A NEW CONTRACT WITH ANYONE - your existing contract will be honored. There is nothing further you need to do at this time.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/I have checked with ADT and they do not have a contract for me. Also, I notice there is no mention of the $1000.00 plus that was paid for a three year contract. If there is a person and contact at ADT they have worked with, I would appreciate the information so I can follow up.Everything I have from ADT indicates they will not be monitoring the installation after 4/24/15.

We pre paid the company for 3 years of alarm monitoring services and they appear to have gone out of business and we no longer have monitoring serviceOn 5/3/2014 [redacted] sold us an Alarm System through Red Rover Security an ADT authorized dealer. We paid $500 that day as a deposit and then $1,249 on 5/10 as the remainder of the payment for the equipment and monitoring services for 36 months. On 3/16/2015 we received a letter directly from ADT stating that they would no longer be providing our alarm monitoring services as of 4/24/2015 since they would not be doing business with Advanced Direct Security LLC. At that time I tried to contact Advanced Direct Security to find out who would be providing our monitoring services if ADT was not since we had paid for monitoring services for 36 months which would be 5/2017. All of the phone numbers for Advanced Direct Security were not working or disconnected and others were rerouted directly to ADT. I called ADT directly several times and explained to them the situation and spoke to a dozen different representatives that all gave me different answers. Some people said they would just be able to transfer our contract over to ADT and honor the money that we had paid to Red Rover and others said that since we didn?t pay ADT directly our monitoring would not be paid for the next 2 years. It seems that Advanced Direct Security which has the same business address as Red Rover Security is no longer in business and with that the money that we paid for monitoring for the next 2 years is gone as well. We can provide the Alarm Services Contract that we signed as well as credit card statements showing what we were charged from Red Rover Security. Based on my research of the ADT authorized deal program it reads that ADT is responsible for all of their authorized dealer and based on that information we would like for ADT to continue our monitoring for the next 2 years at no additional charge to us since they endorse the dealers and allow them to sell their product. If ADT is not willing to do this we would like to dispute the charge from Red Rover Security in the amount that we were charged for monitoring for the next 2 years which per the contract was 53.99 per month which works out to be just about the amount we were charged on 5/10 for $1,249.00.Desired SettlementWe would like for ADT to continue our monitoring service for the next 2 years or to be refunded the monitoring fees so that we can have another company do the alarm monitoringFinal Consumer Response /[redacted]/consumer called to state that issue has been resolved.

American incentive group failed to honor its $25.00 Gas Reward Voucher.American incentive group failed to send me money for gas certificates that I have sent in June and July of 2014. I am mailing the last one today (11-22-14). I have followed all the rules and regulations.Desired SettlementI would like them to honor their agreement and send me the money for the gas vouchers I have sent in.Business Response /[redacted]/We have conducted an internal investigation into this matter and found that this customer has received all monies owed. If the customer has any further questions or inquiries in this matter, they may contact our Member Services Director, [redacted] at (XXX)XXX-XXXX.Sincerely,[redacted]Consumer Response /[redacted]/I did receive 2 of the 3 that I sent (after I filed this claim). I sent the last form on the very last day before expiration. I took a picture of the post mark before the mail employee took the envelope. Thanks,[redacted]
