Please understand that the manufacturer is living up to its warranty obligation and also understand that we have addressed our frustration to the manufacturer on more than one occasion and there position is what it is. I respectfully ask that this complaint be removed from our account because the problem is more manufacturer related than is service related. The furnace is 11 years old! As a small business we cannot forever warranty this product and in our opinion the battle between the manufacturers regarding warranty has left us no choice but increase our labor charges.   Respectfully Todd [redacted]

the part to the customer. The fiat rate book covers thousands of OEM and universal repairs for all different furnace and air conditioner manufacturers. The flat rate price includes labor, no matter long the technician takes to make a repair. This eliminates the issue with a customer concerned about "how fast or how slow" the repair time was in their home and wondering if they're paying for a more or less experienced technician. The car dealerships have been utilizing this system for as long as I can remember. The pricing system however does NOT breakdown the part from the labor. The repair technician has no master price list identifying part cost. The repair price is provided to the customer prior to moving forward with the repair. If the homeowner feels the repair is higher than what they are willing to pay, then we charge for the technician's time to diagnose the problem and a trip fee for travel. It is not uncommon for a homeowner to question the cost of repair due to the information provided on the internet. We do not purchase our parts at wholesale and deliver an end user product at retail. After 30 years in this business, the cost to have an experienced, well trained, trustworthy technician in a home is extremely expensive due to rising labor rates, health insurance premiums, etc.Best regards,Frank M[redacted]
