explained the reason for the lapse in statement generation, due to the fact that our financial coordinator had been out of the office for an extended period of time due to a family illness. Regardless of the office being short staffed during this time I still acknowledged there was a inexcusable lapse in the attempt to collect the patient balance and for that reason we would reconcile the account balance to zero. The patient thanked me for our decision and proceeded to tell me that he would be contacting the Revdex.com to explain the resolution from his point of view. He also mentioned that his family would continue to come to the practice as regular patients.
