I went to the store to purchase a product and they had to order it. Over 1 month later they sent an invoice for additional monies On 9/4 I purchased a CPAP cushion and was told the total cost was $9.74. I paid that and than 1 month later receive an invoice saying I owe an additional $23.29. I must note that the invoice says the cushion was $39.85. They said the cushion costs $47.36 (yet the invoice says $39.85). They state that there was an insurance adjustment of $16.5h which brings the total owed to $23.29If you take the $47.36 they state, subtract the $16.56 insurance adjustment and the $9.47 I paid the balance should be $21.33 which is less than their bill of $23.29.It appears that what they bill and what they say are 2 different things. Desired SettlementUltimately I feel that what I paid in person should be what they should have billed, but I also want to be reasonable. What I would propose that if the cushion cost $39.85 as indicated on the invoice, there was a credit of $16.56 for insurance adjustment and I had paid $9.47 in the store than I would pay the balance of $13.82. AHC has mailed him a copy of his detailed billing statement, and he requested I call him back next week to discuss all of the charges after he has had the opportunity to review the statement. I informed him that if during our conversation we identify any errors in the billing we will immediately correct those and make any account adjustments necessary to reconcile his balance.
