I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11769619, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:- There should be no stumps in my lawn. That was the original agreement when the yard was inspected and contracted. I then paid extra to remove stump as after paying deposit, landscaper told me that he made a mistake and could not remove with the Bobcat and a stump grinder was required. So I paid extra and still the job was not completed.- The agreement was also that boards would be laid down the side of my house for the Bobcat to get to the back. This was never done and my side yard was torn up. I don't see why I should pay an extra $1200 to fix damage done by the contractors equipment.- The lawn did not take due to improper grading and spraying of Hydroseed. My neighbours can all testify (and water bill shows) that I had sprinklers running twice a day to water the lawn per instructions given so do not accept comment that it was not properly cared for.My biggest mistake was making final payment and trusting the job was done and lawn would take.

Everything was completed in a professional manner.there were sevaral stumps that were ground at his property.at least 20/25 of them.some if them large...some if them small.this was done before his yard was graded with a bobcat.we graded and hydroseeded the entire area where the stumps were...

removed.that was what the homeowner payed for.we did so.we damage to his existing grass from the use of the bobcat.we graded and hydroseeded that entire area also.we did this free of charge.normally we charge for labor in any other circumstance.the homeowner payed after the job was complete.him and his wife were satified after the job was completed.approx 6/7 weeks later the homeowner tried contacting us a on a few diffrent occasions and after a few call I was able to contact him..for that I am sorry for not being more prompt.after talking to him we made it to his residence and looked at his issues. The homeowner stated that he was happy with the main area behind his house that was graded and hydro seeded where the stumps were removed that he had an issue with the area that was damaged along the side of his house that the grass wasn't growing in very well you told him that we would add more soil and hydro seed for I believe it was $1,200. Not once during that meeting with the homeowner that he stayed any issues with any stumps behind his house. We did have a very dry summer and there was certain periods through the summer where we didn't have very much rain. It is not my fault that the homeowner was not able to nourish the seed enough to bring it to life and specific areas of his yard I feel I am not responsible for this problem at his residence. I gave him a discounted rate to bring us some topsoil and hydroseed it. I am sorry that his seed did not grow in specific areas of his yard.
