Audi Manhattan agreed to reimburse the customer for last payment and offered to bring her car across the street to the Range Rover dealer. We called Range Rover and got the info on the remaining payments. There was no other criteria for anything other than was stated on the purchase order of Audi...

Manhattan making her last payment. Audi Manhattan has a strict policy of NO ORAL Agreements and all must be in writing. Every customer signs a document to this fact to cover both parties from these types of "he said she" situations. As far we know there have been no charges sent to this customer for early termination she is just worried that there may be. Obviously Range Rover is a separate manufacturer and we are not privy to the inner workings of their franchise and nor will they release this info to us. All we are allowed is to acquire a payoff with the customer's authorization. Audi Manhattan has fulfilled their part of the transaction in regards to making her final payment and bringing the off-lease car to Range Rover in which we have in writing. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The manager (Roger) who wrote this called me about two weeks ago and apologized that they had given me false information.  He also told me they would take care of any additional amount owed to Range Rover due to the fact that they were not  honest with me.  The email that he sent does not reflect the conversation that he had with me.  So I am disappointed to hear that they are not taking responsibility for not telling me that I was not supposed to break my lease even though they were the ones that made the call to RR to negotiate the return of the RR. I want them to be responsible as he said they would for any additional amount owed to RR.
