I used *** to schedule transport for my car for a military PCSAutos on the go had a standing bid which was competitive although a little higher than the restI chose to go with this company because I wanted to avoid the hassles of receiving bids from other companies and then trying to read
reviews on those companies and Autos on the go had decent reviews on ***.I booked my shipment on May using *** with a pickup window of 27-May which happened to be Memorial Day weekendMy delivery time frame was the following weekend 3-JuneFor those who have not used *** before, they allow you to input both a pickup window and a delivery window.After autos on the go accepted this contract, I never heard from them until I called on either the or 20th of MayAt that time ** *** said it was too early for him to look into getting a driver to transport my vehicle and to call him back the next weekI then called the Monday of the next week with no answer and then Tuesday where he said that he was just about to schedule a driver for pickup and then he would get back to me.I didn't hear back from him until that Friday, May where he told me that he had tried to get a driver out that Thursday and Friday but my wife said noWhen she spoke with ** *** he told her that he could get a driver out that Thursday to which she said she had to work and so couldn't let the driver take the carShe also told ** *** that Friday was not preferable and asked him if he could reschedule for Saturday through Monday** *** told her that he would get back to her after he looked into the possibility of getting a driver for the later daysShe never heard back from him and assumed that he was successful in getting a driver for a later date.I then called ** *** Friday and Saturday and then finally got through to him on TuesdaySince he knew that my wife was flying across the country to our new duty station he asked me to find someone to watch the the car until he could find a driver, completely ignoring the fact that his failure to communicate is what caused the entire situationI was forced to ask my in laws to deal with the car, causing them to completely reschedule their week and cancel trips they had planned.After calling ** *** again Wednesday and Thursday, I finally learned through my in laws that the car was picked up that Thursday, once more an example of ** ***'s failure to communicateI called ** *** on June to figure out where my car was and to complain again and he said that he would look into it and get back to me, which he never didThe next day I received a call from the driver saying that I needed to come get my car, causing me to miss a day cruise with my familyAnd again an example of ** *** failing to communicateHad he actually done his job and got back to me this could have been avoided like all the other issues caused by this company.Throughout this, as I complained to him regarding his contract violations he tried to hide behind his disclaimer which said that pickup would be within "days of booking and delivery within days of pickup." Unfortunately for ** ***, I booked on May and the vehicle was not picked up until JuneEven if we were to use the first day that he offered to pickup the vehicle, May, that would be SIX days from booking** *** is trying to hide behind his disclaimer when it is convenient for him but fails to realize that he violated that disclaimer to start withHe says that he doesn't see what is booked on *** but has an automatic bid in place to get businessIf he accepts a contract and doesn't read what is required by the customer, it is his problem, not the customersIf he accepts a contract which asks for pickup over Memorial Day weekend then it is his job to see that it get doneIt is his problem if he has issues getting a driver to fulfill that contract, not the customersI would NEVER recommend this company or any other run by ** ***, nor would I ever do business with this company again
