Advanced Machine Systems, Incorporated Reviews (1)

Review: I ordered 4 wheels from Wheel Collision Center in April 2013. Upon receiving the wheels I contacted them to arrange for a return and a full refund due to workmanship problems. After going around and around with them coordinating the return, [redacted] got involved because I had placed the charges onto my [redacted]. I provided [redacted] with the UPS tracking numbers for the return and they credited my account $868.00. It had taken me no less than 12 hours of my time to deal with Wheel Collision and [redacted]. A week later, while I was away, UPS delivered wheels again. Wheel Collision Center re-reconditioned the same wheels and shipped them back to me, however they did so upon their own actions as I did not instruct them to do so. They admit to making the mistake via an email I received from them. They requested that I make labels and take the boxes to UPS. Since I was no longer under any contractual obligation since my instructions clearly indicated I requested a return in exchange for a full refund, I asked them to compensate me for all the time I had put into dealing with the original return, as well as the second return. Instead of working it out with me, they contacted [redacted] and lied. They told my bank in an effort to please me, they sent out new wheels. They did not mention that they misunderstood instructions and re-reconditioned the wheels that were returned. Therefore, [redacted] debited my account and credited theirs. Wheel Collision Center arranged to have the wheels picked up by UPS for a second time on 6/10/13, and the wheels were received into their warehouse on 6/13/13. I have made numerous requests for a full refund, but they do not reply. Here are the UPS tracking numbers for the second return: [redacted]Desired Settlement: It has been 11 days since the wheels were picked up at my residence, and 8 days since they received them into their warehouse. This is sufficient time for them to have issued a full refund of $868.00 to my [redacted] account. Please contact Wheel Collision Center and ask them to issue me an immediate full refund int he amount of $868.00. Thanks.

RE: ID #[redacted]

Dear **. [redacted]:

In response to your letter dated June 24, 2013 regarding the above referenced complaint, we are providing documentation and a explanation to substantiate our position.

We are enclosing the FAX and documentation that was sent to our Merchant Services on 5/1/13 in order to get the chargeback to our account reversed. Wheel Collision Center was sucessful in getting the chargeback reversed on May, 9, 2013 (copy attached). This documentation will explain a lot and give you an idea of how uncooperative said customer was. Please feel free to provide said customer with a copy of this as well.

So at that point said customer still had the wheels and Wheel Collision Center had payment for them.

The next correspondence we received from said customer was an e-mail on 6/5/13 instructing us to coordinate the return of the wheels immediately, this was after he realized that the chargeback was reversed by [redacted], and stating that he would be filing a complaint with the body that regulates [redacted] (copy attached).

So yet again we tried to coordinate the return of these wheels. (Copies of e-mails attached) End result being that we gave said customer two options, (1) Put the labels on the boxes and take them to UPS or (2) We can have UPS come to his residence and pick them up. These were the same options he had back in April and he would not cooperate, thus the chargeback.

We did finally receive the wheels back at our facility on 6/13/13. However, all incoming wheels must be inspected and processed before anything is done. We receive and ship numerous wheels on a daily basis. So a credit could not be issued until this process was completed. We issued a full credit to said customer on 6/21/13 (copy attached).

In our opinion, there was absolutely no reason this issue could not have been resolved by both parties involved without involving [redacted], and the Revdex.com. But due to the lack of cooperation, help and understanding on said customers part.... it escalated to this. Short of driving out to Ohio and back to pick these wheels up ourselves, we believe Wheel Collision Center did everything reasonably possible to resolve this issue in a timely and professional manner.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or require additional information regarding the above. Thank you!

I am rejecting this response because: Wheel Collision Center's response is problematic because it contains many inaccuracies.
