I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[Advanced Medical Billing has not provided dates in which paperwork was mailed to Dr*** ***'s personal PO BoxI also requested *** (employee of Advanced Medical Billing), to resend a second copy of the refund paperwork to the doctor by mail to make sure my request for a reimbursement would be receivedAdvanced Medical Billing has not made my request for a refund a priority, procrastinating to the point in which the doctor has closed the doors to her practice At this time, I would like to know what Advanced Medical Billing is doing on their part to see that an issue is refunded]

In response to the Revdex.com letter dated August 30, 2017, which we received yesterday September 06,2017, is that our company has never denied a refund of $219.25 to the customer in question. The first note that we have in our system on the...

customer's account is from July 13, 2017. I do recall the customer saying that she had been asking for this refund for the past three months, I told her that there were no notes on this account about it. After reading the letter she sent to Revdex.com, I see that she spoke to the doctor's manager. We were not aware of the refund request until I took that call on July 13, 2017. The next step was to do paperwork to request a refund and forward it to the doctor, which we did and I told her that she would receive a check via mail.I will dispute the statement that my supervisor would not return her calls. Whenever I spoke with the customer and she would request to speak with the supervisor, my supervisor in fact was not in the office, then the customer would say she would call back later or I would ask her to call back again. I did run the situation with my supervisor about the refund and the truth is that we are following the doctor's orders to mail the paperwork to her mailing address. I apologized to the customer for the time she had been waiting for the refund, but that this was the only way to request it. Our company does not have the doctor's checkbook nor has control over the mail once it leaves the office. Without a doubt, if the refund was in our hands to process and deliver we would have done this gladly. Unfortunately, as the customer mentions it in her letter, the doctor's health is precarious, so we would like to kindly ask for a little more consideration towards this matter.
