laptop was picked up 7/13, now 2/14 all phone #s have been disconnected and no response to emails in months. and NO laptop7/29/13 Laptop was picked up from my place of employment. Promised to have ready within a week, it is now February 7, 2014 and all phone #'s I have are disconnected and I have had NO repsonse at all to any of the emails I have sent out.Desired SettlementI would just like my laptop back and fixed as he promised. Business owner was paid $49.95 for a [redacted] unit for my computer. He never returned to install it as promised; and has never refunded my money.On April 27 and April 28, 2016, [redacted] came to my residence to service my computer. He was paid $265.00 on April 27; and on April 28, I wrote him an additional check for $140.00. Of that $140.00, $90.05 was for additional service to my computer; and $49.95 was for a [redacted] unit which he promised to bring and install for me. He assured me that I would not owe him any more money. He wasted no time in cashing the check - he cashed it that very day, according to my bank statement. Unfortunately for me, he never delivered the unit as promised. He kept giving excuses, and for a while I believe I was more than lenient. I realize that he lives in [redacted], which is a rather long drive, so I didn't ask him to make a special trip to this area for that one call; but just to deliver the unit when he had other business around here. He promised me several times he would be here at a certain time, or on a certain day, and never showed up. It got to where, when I tried to contact him about the matter, he would simply text me, saying "I'm in a meeting." and I wouldn't hear anything else. After well over a month of this, it became obvious that he had no intention of delivering the unit as promised, so I tried to contact him to refund my $49.95, so I could at least buy the unit somewhere else. He has continued to avoid me, and has not returned my money. It has been approximately 2 1/2 months now. This man scammed me out of nearly $50, pure and simple. Why, I don't know. But it is shoddy business practice; and I would like to have my money back. Desired SettlementI would like to have my $49.95 refunded in full, since he did not deliver the unit as promised.

Complaint[redacted] (the tech)came to repair computer. Paid him $110 for a few minor repairs, also gave him $50 for a printhead which he promised to deliver. [redacted] came to home and claimed to be the owner of the firm. Said he had a Master's degree in computer technology. Spent about 1 1/2 to 2 hours working and resolved some problems. fixed one problem with the printer but then told me it needed a new print-head. Said he would pick one up for me in Raleigh the nest day and deliver it. Paid him $110 for the repairs and $50. for the printhead. Haven't seen or heard from him since. He has put my phone on auto send to his voice-mail (both of my lines)so I can't even call him now. Plan to take him to small claims court!Desired SettlementReturn of my money or receipt of the printhead.
