I am rejecting this response because:  The police had never visited their office and had never spoke to me. I waited over one and a half hours for them twice but they never showed up. The doctor informed me he could not get a good reading on my eyes after two tries even and informed me  I needed a perscription for eye medication that he would not give me. I went to my family doctor and was informed he should have given me the medicine but he did not want to accept the responsibility in case it was wrong. According to my doctor this happens all the time.  Dr [redacted] should have referred me to a specialist as he said he was going to but he refused to. I was met at their door on one occasion and told not to come into their office I was not his patient anymore and was not welcome there and to leave or the police would be called and of course they never showed up.  The doctor only saw me two times and refused to see me again. His office manager met with me once and told me to try the glasses and if they did not work to bring them back, at which I tried to and she refused to see me again or make an appointment.  have never been treated like this in my life, especially by a doctor.  How can he claim to help people when he treats them like this. According to my insurance I should have only paid a co pay of 15 to 25 dollars. when on  a conference call with my insurance, their were three of us, my insurance told them they had billed my insurance wrong, it needed to be by paper and  they told my insurance that they would not bill it that way. So they would not get paid.  It was billed as out of network instead of as a provider through Dr [redacted].  They charged my credit card $476.80 and all I want is a refund so I can get help from a doctor who knows what he is doing properly and I can get the medical help I need. I do not think I am asking to much when this so called doctor is refusing to help me after he admitted he could not help me.

or her insurance. She has also had her eyewear remade for her, again at no additional fees. At each visit and in two follow-up letters it has been explained to Ms. * that her dry eye condition needs to be addressed in order to stabilize her prescription. She has been advised to see her primary care physician to schedule with an ophthalmologist to treat the dry eye disease, as we are not providers under her medical plan. Staff has spent several hours working with Ms. * explaining the benefits of her vision insurance plan. More than once we have conference called and spoken with a supervisor who advised her to request a certificate of benefits from the membership department. The supervisor also explained that she could avail herself of the grievance process if she so desires. Regarding the patient’s request for a refund on her glasses, which we ordered at her request, we do not provide refunds for custom eyewear. The problem experienced by the patient is due to her medical condition (dry eye). We would have considered offering Ms. *. a much-discounted third redo, after she was treated and her dry eye condition was stabilized. However, she became verbally abusive and threatening to staff and patients and refused to leave my office. The local police department was contacted and an officer made a visit to our office concerning her actions; he advised that Ms. * was trespassing. Subsequently, she has been advised that she is no longer welcome at our office. She has been informed that we will gladly forward her records to another eye care provider upon request.

Review: Went to advanced Optometric Services per my insurance on 3-9-2015 for an eye exam and new glasses. Told the doctor (Doctor [redacted]) I needed glasses because cannot see to read. He did the exam but when the glasses came in 2 weeks later I could not see with them. The doctor told me to use these eye drops in my eyes for the next two weeks and return. Says I have dry eyes. Upon returning he did the eye exam again and told me he was having trouble getting a good reading on me but ordered new glasses for me anyway. They came in but again I could not see properly. Everything blurry. Told them this but was told to take them home and try them for 1 week and see if my eyes adjust too them. My eyes did not adjust to them and they were of no use to me. Went back to the office a week later to try and explain to them I still cannot see properly. Could not even see to drive. Was told by the office manager to wear my old glasses to drive you must be able to see. Now this just didn't make any sense to me, why buy glasses I cannot see with, knowing the doctor knows he cannot get a good reading on me and now they will not work with me. Told the office manager this and she ([redacted]) or what ever name she goes by called the insurance company, we had a conference call but came to no agreement at this time. I went back in the office after a week and asked for my refund of $476.00 to which I was told I had to speak to [redacted] again. I asked to make an appointment with her and the doctor but of course I was denyed this also. Told me the doctor would not be in the office and neither would [redacted]. Asked for an appointment to see her and was told she works her own schedule and they never know when she will be in the office. Was also told they did not know when the doctor would be in, apparently not this whole week either. Was getting upset by this time and slapped my glasses on the counter and told them they were no good to me and all I want is a refund of my $476.00. Again no one would help me.Desired Settlement: All I am trying to do is get my refund of $476.00 back. Of course they threatened to call the police on me for getting upset and/or put a restraining order on me so I cannot come back to their office. (kinda childish, don't you think? I really need your help on this matter for they will not work with me on this. One of the girls got mouthy and I told her to shut up she did not understand everything. She very unprofessional, told me she would like to see me make her. Please help me
