It is accurate that Advanced Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Specialists, PC was out of network with [redacted] from December to October Although claims are processed out of network, we are and have been participating with the repricing agents that carriers like [redacted] [redacted] uses, which would give a significant discount on the claim I am happy to discuss these options and cost with the patient directly to offer a reconciliation of her account We strived and worked very hard to educate our staff and our patients to be transparent through this unfortunate time when we are not in network with [redacted] Our goal is and has been to be able to take care of our patients from their office visits to their surgery to their physical therapy to their billing I am happy to address this directly with the patient and find a reasonable solution. My direct email is [redacted] Please have the patient reach out to me to schedule a time to discuss getting this resolved.Thank you, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
1) They never temporarily fixed the Ac problemIn fact it was worse off after they claimed to fix it. Also I have insuranceWhy would I have them temporarily fix something under warranty?2) This is the first time I used
my warranty and don't appreciate that Affordable Services Rv is implying that I have filed many claimsEspecially since they were told any claim over $1,was automatically inspectedPlus their service man kept telling them it got hit by lightning for some reasonIt didn'tI was staying in it at the time so I think I would have noticed!3)This company used my credit card without permission!!And I have proof! I took a picture of the invoice since they made me sign a blank oneIn the background of the picture you can see my credit card info with $written beside itThank god I took that picture. 4)When they replaced the Ac unit we found one just like ours for sale outside their officeSo I asked about itThey told us that wasn't ours and showe us'ours' , one with a white cover instead of blackAnd it wasn't even the same BTUs! I really hope this review helps someone decide to use another repair shopThis one is unprofessional and dishonest( the security was ok)
Sincerely,

The customer chose to purchase his unit from a company other than the manufacturer. They commonly sell seconds and units not updated to requirements. He also purchased an electronic control that works for several different units rather than the...

specific installation. He provided his own information on how he wanted it installed and we followed that instead of going by standard instructions. He was very adamant that he knew how to do this and became very obnoxious about overseeing the operation. I did not agree with him. I have installed these units for Dometic as a certified technician for over 15 years.. When the customer wants it done "their" way, you just do it their way. They have to be responsible for any improper operation if we do it their way.. He caused us more time than we had bid for the job, but we left the price the same as we had promised. The ac unit was put into a bind by tightening the fasteners where he told us to drill through his pan.. It has factory holes that did not line up with existing protrusions and although we strongly recommended not to drill, he insisted. We covered the holes in the roof with the same Styrofoam sticky pads that the factory provides. We stand behind what we do unless we are instructed to divert from our standard operating procedures. And after being talked to in such a demeaning tone by the customer, I do not want to work for him any more. He is very offensive in his demands.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Affordable Services response is totally without merit, and the slander is absurd! The (electronic control they reference) is a specific Control Board that Dometic requires for this specific A/C when installed in this configuration. The new Dometic Low Profile Penguine II A/C does not have the same bolt holes as the old Penguine I A/C, and when installed on Newmar Motorhomes the bolt holes in the new A/C "pan" must be aligned and redrilled to match the existing holes in the roof of the motorhome. Both Newmar and Reputable Technicians advise to "never drill unnecessary holes into the roof of Newmar Motorhomes". This does not cause a bind when tightened according to the installation instructions provided by Dometic. This can be affirmed by reputable RV Technicians, Dometic and Newmar Motorhome Corp.
The "Sticky Styrofoam Pads" the factory provides was not an issue, as they go on the outside under the pan. They are designed to mitigate vibration and should only be compressed 1/2 when tightening the lag bolts. (See page 7, install instructions 630516.321).
Affordable Services may have confused this complaint with their failure to install a Barrier/Gasket/Styrofoam pad between the return/discharge Air Ports. This is basic A/C installation 101, and discussed on page 7 above!!
Pages 6 and 10 of the installation instructions (3314520.010) state the installer provides UL certified closed end single opening butt splice connectors on "all" open ended wires.

Yes, I do know a little about correct procedures for installation of an A/C on a Newmar Motorhome by following written instructions, however I hired this company to do the job...and they failed in every department. They do not stand behind what they are paid to do, and evidentally their Standard Operating Procedures are not in compliance with Codes and Manufacture Instructions. At this point I am not even sure they are licensed to perform these services.
