Advanced Overhead Door

Review: I conatracted to have two overhead doors installed. The salesman,[redacted], assured me that the doors would match the existing doors with two differences: the color brown might not match the existing doors and the doors would have a textured surface., unlike the flat, smooth finish of the existing doors.What he didn't tell me, and the pictures in the brochure he gave didn't show,which turned out to be the case, was that the doors had a high gloss finish (the original doors had a flat finish).This causes a reflection in the afternoon sun, which causes the doors to appear to be splotchy white and brown, which is quite ugly. The same thing happens, to a lesser extent, with reflected car headlights.I notified the company as soon as I saw this, which was the day after the installation. I asked [redacted] to come out and see for himself on the next sunny afternoon. I have no idea if he did. The company sent me an email a few days later (after my repeated calls were not returned), with instructions on how to paint the door with flat paint, and the name of a painting contractor I could hire at my expense. In the email, I also found out that painting the doors would void the factory warranty on the doors.I finally, after more repeated calls, managed to catch [redacted] in the office. I told that I would not pay to fix a problem he never informed me of. He told me that his boss would call me. I said I expected a call that day. No call has been forthcoming.
