WE WERE CALLED ON MONDAY MID MORNING FROM THE CUSTOMER THAT THEY HAD A SHOWER VALVE LEAKWE ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT STYLE AND BRAND OF FAUCETAND WHAT WAS IT DOING THEY SAID IT RUNNING CONSTANTLY AND WONT SHUT OFF ALL THE WAY.OUR SERVICE MAN WAS DISPATCHED AND WENT OUT TO REPAIR VALVEHE CHECKED THE VALVE AND FOUND IT WAS DRIPPING NON STOP AND IN NEED OF A CARTRIDGEWE TOOK THE VALVE A PART FOUND THE AMERICAN STANDARD CARTRIDGE THAT WE HAD STOCKED ON VAN AND INSTALLED NEW CARTRIDGE PUT BACK TOGETHER & TURNED WATER BACK ON AND NO MORE LEAK EVERYONE IN HOME WAS SATISFIEDWE PICKED UP OUR TOOLS & CLEANED UP OUR MESS AND FILLED OUT INVOICE THE PEOPLE IN THE HOME CONTINUED TO USE THE SHOWER THE WORK WAS FOUND TO BE SATISFIED BY EVERYONE IN HOME THE OWNER *** SIGNED AND PAID THE INVOICE. SEVERAL DAYS LATER WE RECEIVED A CALL BACK FROM OWNER THAT THERE WAS SOME RATTLING GOING ON FROM SHOWER, I SAID NO PROBLEM I WILL GET YOU ON THE SCHEDULE HE ASKED IF THERE WAS GOING TO BE A CHARGE TO COME BACK OUT I REPLIED YES, HE WAS VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS ANSWERI EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT THE CARTRIDGE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND MIGHT NEED ADDITIONAL PARTS IF SOMETHING ELSE IS NOW MALFUNCTIONING WE WOULD HAVE SECOND CHARGE TO REPAIR HE BECAME ENRAGED AT ME TELLING ME I NEEDED TO COME FIX IT FOR FREE THAT WE DIDN'T DO IT RIGHT AND EVENTUALLY HUNG UP ON MEA FEW DAYS LATER HE CALLED BACK SAYING HE HAD ANOTHER PLUMBER COME FOR SECOND OPINION AND HE SAID TO JUST REPLACE THE WHOLE THING, THAT HE DECIDED TO GO ONLINE AND RESEARCH THIS VALVE AND SPENT SEVERAL HOURS TO FIND OUT WHAT IT WAS AND FIXED IT HIMSELFHE THEN REPLIED" I SHOULD REFUND HIM HIS MONEY." I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT THE WORK HAD BEEN DONE THAT WE HAD FIXED THE LEAKING/RUNNING SHOWER & REPLACED THE CARTRIDGE THAT HE HAD SIGNED THE INVOICE PAID US IN FULL AND WAS HAPPY AT THE TIME OF SERVICE FOR WORK DONEI EXPLAINED AS WE DISCUSSED PRIOR TO COMING OUT WE WORK BY THE HOUR ON ALL REPAIRS AND ONLY CHARGE FOR TIME THERE AND PARTS USED. HE WAS VERY ANGRY AND STILL INSISTED I REFUND HIM HIS MONEY FOR PARTS AND SERVICE THE PICTURES OF THE BALANCE SPOOL THAT *** HAS ALSO NEEDED REPLACING ON THIS OLD AMERICAN STANDARD VALVE THAT HE HAS PICTURE OF IS BEHIND THE CARTRIDGE EMBEDDED IN THE VALVE REQUIRES A PIC AND SCREWDRIVER AND SOME FORCE TO REMOVE THE SCARING ON THE PART WAS DONE BY OWNER *** DURING REMOVAL OF NOT ADVANCED PLUMBING. THE CARTRIDGE THAT WE INSTALLED HAS SMALL SCREWS THAT HOLD IT TO THE BRASS VALVE AND WOULD NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BALANCE SPOOL BEHIND IT. THIS CUSTOMER LEFT US A BAD REVIEW ON YELP, WE HAD IT REMOVED BECAUSE IT WAS FOUND TO BE UN TRUE BY COMPANYA MONTH LATER HE PUT ANOTHER BAD REVIEW ON AND WORDED IT DIFFERENTLYI REPLIED TO HIS YELP REVIEW WITH THE SAME FACTS THAT I JUST LISTED HEREI NOTICED SEVERAL OTHER COMPANIES ON HIS YELP PROFILE THAT HE HAS LEFT THE SAME KIND OF REVIEWS AGAINST, NOTHING POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT ANYONE *** SEEMS TO BE VERY UNHAPPY AND ANGRY PERSON. WE WOULD OF LIKED THE CHANCE TO FIX THE EXTRA WORK NEEDED BUT HE WAS UN REASONABLE AND ONLY DEMANDED A FULL REFUND. Emailed you directly with an attachment containing The files needed to prove my complaint Let me try and explain why we are contacting the Revdex.com in this matter in a little further detail.We were having issues with our shower not running warmThere was never any word spoken about a leaky faucet or any type of leak, Advanced Plumbing made that up for reasons I have no ideaEvery time my daughter tried to regulate the water the valve would start making a horrible knocking noiseThis went on for a long time until we knew we should call a professional plumber to fix itMy daughter would run bath water for her kids, half hot and half cold because the balancer wasn't working properlyThat's what made the balancer condition worsen and the knocking ceaseWe called a plumbing place(not advanced plumbing) and they came out and gave us a bid to replace the entire valve by cutting a hole in the wall from behindThey wanted dollarsI really thought that was high so we called Advanced PlumbingThey came out fairly quicklyI explained to him that there was some knocking and it's either hot or cold coming out of the faucet and no in betweensSince I don't use that bathroom for showering I did not realize that the knocking had stopped in the mean timeAlthough that's what I told ***When *** showed up there was no knocking, I was only trying to help him by giving all the information I could to help him properly diagnose and fix the problemSo *** replaced the cartridge and had me come and look at itI asked him if it was working and he said it wasI checked the water temperature and it was warm so I thought he fixed it.( I am not a professional plumber ) It was probably warm from just switching from hot to coldI was really happy and gave them a tip because we were thinking the bill for the fix would be upwards of to dollars. So later that day my daughter went to take a shower and came and told me that the shower was not fixed and that it was doing the exact same thing before Advanced Plumbing arrivedIt was still giving only hot or coldI tried to call the next day and began messaging them about it not being fixed and we have the same problemI talked to the manager about what was going on and he also refused to believe a word I was sayingThey kept saying it was something in the line so I had another plumber come over and check it outThere was no rust or debis presentThat plumber gave us a quote of about dollars to replace the entire valveHe told us to rip the shower wall outWe thought that was really extreme so I continued searching for an answerI remembered that the manager of Advanced Plumbing said somehting about a balancerSo I looked it up online a began finding my answersI found that a bad balancer causes rattling, knocking and the water to not regulate properlyThis is my problem with Advanced PlumbingI wanted a refund because of misdiagnosis and failure to locate and remedy what we know now is a simple problem to fixI included the pictures of the balancer with the gasket eroded awayThat was the problem the whole timeThe manager said they didn't have a balancer on the truckThere was never a leak, *** did nothing to fix the problem, they took the original cartridge with them which never had a problem. I did my best to explain to the manager that they only came and replaced a part we didn't need and did nothing to fix our problemThe manager refused to believe a word I was saying and said they fixed itAccording to his statement he says that we were trying to get free work because we were brokeI assure you that at no time did Advanced Plumbing check any of our bank statements or balancesThe manager was extremely rude and treated me as if I was some crazy person making up storiesI guess this is how they treat customers who pay with cash and give them tipsI tried to speak with the owner and they said I could not talk with him because he was not doing well Later I wrote a negative review on Yelp.com about the horrible experience I had with them and Advanced Plumbing responded by disclosing my personal and private information and a complete fabrication about what happenedAdvanced plumbing says "We where called about a leaking shower valve on Monday May 4th at 11am." Clearly Advanced Plumbing is making up stories about leakingThe Invoice and text messages prove thatIt was never about leakingNot at any time did anyone one from Advanced Plumbing come back over to see if I was being truthfulIn Advanced Plumbing's statement they say " I told him that if he had called us back right away, we always go back and check/fix our work we have done, that this was and additional problem." The call log shows that I called them within to business hoursThey have a day warranty but the manager told me it didn't applyAdvanced Plumbing's statement says "Several days later he called back that he was hearing a banging sound in valve wall." The call log and text messages clearly proves that statement is not trueI called them back the next day because we were experiencing the exact same problemWe continued to call periodically to try and resolve the issue because we were being treated unfairlyThere was no "banging" noise in the wall5.Advanced Plumbing's statement says "he was just frustrated and didn't have the money to do the job." They don't know how much money we have and they've never seen a bank statement or bank balance of ours.6." the balancing spool inside the BACK of shower valve" This is a misleading line of Advanced Plumbing's statementThe cartridge and balancer are right next to eachother in FRONT of the valveWhen *** took off the cartridge he's looking right at the balancerThey just didn't have it in the truckWe would like a refund of $which is shown on the invoiceI'll just eat the $because that was a tip

continue to make stuff up. At no time did we ever complain about a
leaky shower faucet. We actually weren't even using that shower while we
were waiting to get it fixed and it wasn't leaking or it would've been
fixed way before we called Advanced Plumbing.AP - "OUR SERVICE MAN WAS DISPATCHED AND WENT OUT TO REPAIR VALVE. HE CHECKED THE VALVE AND FOUND IT WAS DRIPPING NON STOP"Here
we go again making stuff up. This is just a lie. There was never a
leak. The texts and invoice prove that. I took the cover off inspected
the valve and took pictures before they came over and there was no leak.
I texted them the pictures before they arrived and no leak was ever
present. The picture was included in the "texts" and in the first
picture in the "screens" folder.AP - "THE PEOPLE IN THE HOME CONTINUED TO USE THE SHOWER."Why they make up stuff like this is way beyond me. How would he know what we do in our home? We could not use that shower because we had the same exact problem before Advanced Plumbing showed up. AP - "BEHIND

DURING REMOVAL OF NOT ADVANCED PLUMBING."I'm baffled at the lies
that they continue to come up with. I'm assuming that the "scarring"
he's talking about is the torn rubber in the picture. There is no way
you can do that to a balancer unless you take it apart and deliberately
damage it. I took it apart and that's what was inside. I never even knew
there was a balancer inside the valve until the manager of Advanced
Plumbing told me about it over the phone well after they left.AP - "I
NOTICED SEVERAL OTHER COMPANIES ON HIS YELP PROFILE THAT HE HAS  LEFT
THE SAME KIND OF REVIEWS AGAINST,  NOTHING POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT ANYONE

he's making up an obvious lie I just don't understand. I have posted
four reviews on Yelp.com two of which are negative and two are positive.

to be untrue by who? Yelp? Yelp only investigates reviews to see if
they are ethical. I believe the reason it was removed is because I said
the manager was a jerk.AP - "HE WAS UN REASONABLE AND ONLY DEMANDED A FULL REFUND"I only asked for labor costs back which would've been 90 dollars.Whoever
is replying to these queries really has no idea what's going on. Why he
or she is making this stuff is truly unprofessional. But nonetheless,
if Advanced Plumbing will refund us the 123.33 I'll take my negative
Yelp review down.

faucet. We shut water down pulled cartridge, installed new cartridge one that we had on our service van. Turned back on water and no more dripping faucet. The family in home all looked at & was happy, we tested several times to insure no more leaks. [redacted] stated he didn't have the money or a check on him to pay the bill. He said he would have to go to bank. Our technician replied with, I will follow you to the bank and get payment as required time of service. [redacted] paid in full and signed our invoice of completion of work.Several days later he called back that he was hearing a banging sound in valve wall. I replied that we would send a plumber out to look at, he wanted it done for free. I said that there would be a charge for second service call if it was something else on the valve, he insisted that we should do it for free. I told him there would be second charge he got mad and hung up on me. A week later he called back that he had another plumber look at and he said they would have to replace the whole shower valve and cut a hole in the wall. He didn't want to do that so he began to look on line to find another answer. after several days and hours "his words" he found it to be the balancing spool inside the back of shower valve needed to be replaced that he did himself. I replied great I am glad you found the problem. He then responded that he wanted his money back. I said sir we fixed leak on valve and installed new cartridge, that at know time while our technician was there did anyone say there where other problems with the shower valve. He demanded that I refund him. I told him that if  he had called us back right away, we always go back and check/fix our work we have done, that this was and additional problem. He was very angry & cursed at me and threatened to leave bad reviews online. I fill we followed correct procedures and treated the customer fairly, he was just frustrated and didn't have the money to do the job. We are always willing to work with our customers and fix any problem. what this customer is asking for is free parts and labor.

I had a problem wiith my toilet. I called advanced plumbing and scheduled an appointment. They arrived on time. [redacted] was very polite and diagnosed my problem right away. He made the repair with parts he stocked on his truck and was done in an hour. Problem fixed. The bill was very fair and I have had no further issues. I recommend them highly.

Advanced Plumbing is exceptionally fast and reliable. They are friendly and take pride in the work that they do. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Any plumbing needs I have, they are who I call.

We had a clogged sewer line water was backed up all over floor called 3 places no answer or couldn't get out for days! we were devastated by this our whole house was shut down
We tried Advanced Plumbing they quickly came out same day found problem and got us temporary fixed as it was late in the day. We have a beautiful maple tree in front yard that clogged our drain. they stuck a camera down the toilet and located the problem roots in our pipe. They said we needed a clean out in that location they came back next day with excavator and installed a 2 way clean out from house to the street then snaked the line and cleared all roots. Everything is working well and its been 3 months they also cleaned everything up real good to. I would recommend there service clean professional and did a great job!

Advanced plumbing of Yakima did an excellent job for us. We have referred all of our friends and family to them. They have great plumbers...they help me figure out how to make our bathroom remodel work in the space aloud. They got the plumbing job done fast. We have been enjoying our new bathroom. Our kitchen remodel is next...Advanced plumbing definitely will be doing all of our plumbing work.

Can't say enough about Advanced Plumbing, excellent service and fair prices! A must for all your plumbing needs!

I just was so happy, to have my bathroom turned into a spa like retreat. I have never seen such quality work. They were so helpful,and easy to talk to. We worked together to develop the best layout for my needs. I am disabled,and I needed a bathroom I could easily get around in. I have struggled getting in and out of my bathtub for years. Now I can get in and out safely. Thank you Advanced, you have changed my life.

Review: On May 4, 2015 we called Advance Plumbing out to give us a bid on shower valve replacement. The shower valve/pipes had been knocking but ceased because the problem had worsened. There was no rattling in shower pipes or valve when he got here and none when he left. The shower valve was only giving hot or cold water not regulating. Advanced Plumbing replaced the cartridge and we thought it was fixed and we believed that the plumber was good enough to know. Our daughter went to take a shower that night and there was only hot or cold water (exact same issue we had before the technician arrived). We texted them the next day and explained that the issue wasn't resolved and asked them to come back out but they wanted to charge us another service call fee. We felt that they should have waived the service call fee because the original request was not remedied. After several calls and texts to this company they were extremely rude and only wanted to tell us that there guy did the job and we were satisfied when he left, not considering the fact that the part he replaced did nothing to fix our problem. They tried to tell us it was something else and told us to drain our hot water heater because they said there was debris in our lines (this was not the case). We found the problem on our own and sent a picture to one of the employees to confirm what the issue was - they did not respond back. The issue was a part that sits right next to a cartridge called a balancer. The rubber gasket inside was destroyed which causes rattling, knocking and the water to not regulate properly. The technician did not check to see if the problem we explained was resolved and since I don't use that shower I took his word for it that it was okay.(I am not a professional plumber) The manager told me that they didn't have a balancer on hand. Also , they never gave us a bid on a shower valve replacement and that's why we called them.

Later I wrote a negative review on Yelp about the incompetency of their performance and he responded back by posting my personal and confidential information (address and phone number). Claiming that we lied about everything and said they came over to fix a leak when it was never about a leak. We have the original receipt/work order and it says specifically that they only changed a cartridge to alleviate rattling.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of services and fees for the total of $123.33. Because of unprofessional services. Lack of customer service or warranty. Lying about the situation, misleading information about us personally and disclosing personal information. I have the invoice and pictures of the actual problem as well as screen shots of the Yelp response to our review. This dispute could have been very easily resolved with some very simple customer service. But Advance Plumbing insisted that I was lying.

I recently hired Advanced Plumbing to replace a water main. While the line replacement was done to code, my yard was badly torn up and the back-filling of the trench was not done to my satisfaction. There were large rocks, dirt, and sod pieces across much of the yard. The backhoe that was used left gouges in my lawn and the meter box was buried in dirt. Most concerning was the improper back-filling under the foundation footings which left a void which could potentially compromise the foundation. When I called to respectfully discuss my concerns, I was told by the owner that I was lucky to have water and that I was irritating him. I called the city inspector who stated that he would call the contractor on my behalf. I have not yet heard back from the contractor.
I wish that I had hired another contractor who would have used smaller equipment, would have completed the job 2 days sooner and seemed much more polite.
