I cant give negative stars so a one will have to do. I would not even allow this company back into my home....Oh im sorry "Im just the renter" as he reminded me many times. Lets start at the beginning. I was called by the owner to come by and do an estimate. Took two seconds to check out the bathroom and that was it. The next day or so he called and said it would take 2 days max (thursday and friday). They show up (late each morning) Thursday morning to get started. Right away I was uncomfortable with the tall guy (I believe his name was Joe). He showed up in a wife beater tank top, gold chain around his neck and was tall with slicked back hair. I guess the sopranos were in town. They got started and everything seemed fine. Until they cut the linoleum on the floor while removing the bathtub and then they chipped the bathtub trying to get it back in.....The cuts they made in the drywall were EXTREMELY sloppy. In fact, you can still see them. They figured they would try to hide the cut they made with a wooden strip that they screwed on the floor right outside the tub....but now the wood is turning black and its disgusting....did I mention my toilet paper holder falling after the wall minutes after they left?
Oh wait...theres more! This Joe guy called me a crazy bh...why you ask? Because I complained about him to the owner. After all the stuff I mentioned above- lets not forget all the cigarette butts that I had to pickup from off my grass...or the sun flower seeds that were all over my carpet by the front door? Or how about the trash they left on my porch table that blew all over my driveway....or them constantly leaving my gate open leaving my dog able to escape. Oh wait!! At one point, I came out to check on them (I work from home and was taking my lunch break) and I found his GIRLFRIEND HANGING OUT IN MY HOUSE!! I had no idea he let anyone in my house and there she was. When I said hi she looked at my like I was bothering her. Obviously I let them know that was unprofessional and she had to leave my house. That pissed him off! So anyhow....Friday evening rolls around and they tell me they arent close to finished and had to come back Saturday....And I have plans. So I let them come back for the first half of Saturday and then again he tells me....we have to come back we arent finished. His partner suggested they come bakc Sunday to just finish it up and Joes response was "FK NO. IM NOT FKING COMING BACK ON A SUNDAY". Shocking right?? Professional? Nahhhh. At one point I got frustrated because everything was a mess, they were very unorganized and had no idea what they were doing. The damn drywall is so bad now that the baseboard is coming off from the wall. They tried to use enough caulking to help but it didnt. The bathroom looks worse then it did before and this was supposed to be a remodel!
Here we are, quite a way later, and I finally have someone else coming back out on Monday to fix this sloppy work that my house was left with. Oh wait...not my house because as Joe said many times "Im just the renter" (Ive lived here for 5 years with my daughter and I. I am not just a renter, this is my home)
