WE ARE AN HONEST COMPANY AND THIS COMPLAINT IS NOT ACCURATE
First of all, the customer contacted us and asked us for an estimate on a service agreement plan for his heating systemWe never talked to him on getting the service agreement planWe only gave a price and he called us back and agreed about the price since we were the lowest bidWe have all the documents to prove that we only came for an estimate on the service agreementUpon signing the agreement we tuned the heating system and as a courtesy we flushed the hot water heater as wellFor the record, he is a new home owner and doesn’t know a lot about the service agreement and how it worksWe explained it to him in detail and told him as stated in the agreement it says one visit per year is freeHowever, he thinks that anything goes wrong with the heating system or hot water heater that we’re responsible for it, but that’s not how it worksWe service it twice a year (Winter & Summer) and any issues he has during the service agreement he will get 30% discount on labor & parts
Furthermore, during the first two weeks he called us multiply times regarding the heating system & the hot water heater systemNevertheless since he is a new customer we kindly didn't charge him for these service callsit turned out all these calls because he had lack of knowledge on how to use the thermostat or how the system worksWe tried to be patient & reasonable, and explained how things workWe are dedicated and devoted companyThe most important thing is that a customer never feels that they were treated unfairly or that we have taken advantage of them or the situation in any wayWe take things seriously, but he twisted the truth and lied and said that we sabotaged the hot water heaterWhich we didn’t damage anything but explained to him that he needed to contact the manufacturer because we did what we supposed to do, and they have to send their own technician for the hot water heaterThe homeowner thinks by writing us to Revdex.com we will refund him the money, but we will take legal actions due to his slandering and lying about our company reputation We will proceed with the collection process for the unpaid service visits and lawyer feesWe charged him $to service hot water boilers in total of zones and hot water heater, including servicing condensers for the coolingThis price is reasonable price but the homeowner doesn’t appreciate what we did
Thank you for understanding

Awesome service! Great company! Love them!

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
This business is not looking to resolve the complaint. They are wanting to take the full money paid to them for an annual service plan after only servicing me for one month. They state on their website that they offer a 100% customer satisfaction (snapshot attached). They also state on their website that they are a Revdex.com accredited business (snapshot attached) as per the Revdex.com website they are not! )snapshot attached). They go by several company names.
They state on their response that they explained to me in detail that they will make one visit per year free, what they failed to mention is that after sabotaging my equipment it will require us to only call them as we know have an annual contract with them.  By dirtying the sensors of the water heater motor and sensor for the pilot and gas, it will keep shutting the motor off and stop us from getting hot water. We would have to keep restarting the motor physically every morning in order to get hot water within 45mins to one hour. Leaving us no choice to call them and have to repair or replace the water heater which can cost us thousands of dollars.
We found out from a real honest company, one that is in business for over 50 years that the sensors are dirty and will have to be replaced. So having a perfectly working water heater, then paying "Advanced Professional" close to $700 to maintain and service our mechanicals for a year, ended us in a loss. We had to replace the complete motor on top of the water heater and the sensor for the pilot and gas at the bottom of the heater.
If I dont get a refund of 11/12ths of my money back, I will file a suit against this company and sue them for much more then what I am willing to take now. As I had to pay for new parts due to it being sabotaged/tampered. I will also let the entire [redacted] County know of this company's tactics to cheat and con people of their hard earned money.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I can only infer by the “evidence” that Advanced had every intentionof performing sub-standard work, not up to code or even capable of passinginspection. I later decided to upgrade the entire ventilation system, thus repairingby default the incorrect connection to the new water heater installed byAdvanced technicians. I will consider this matter closed when I have cashed acheck for $175.

Review: I own an old, three family house. During the week of January 12th, 2015, I was notified by one of the tenants that there was no hot water in their apartment. I used [redacted] to locate a plumber since I’d never needed one before. I called Advanced Professional Plumbing on or about January 15th. A representative named Ray came out on the 16th to inspect the problem and explained what would be done to replace the hot water heater and bring that part of the ventilation system up to code. The work itself was performed on Saturday, January 17th by two technicians whose names I never learned. The total cost, after a 10% discount, was $1240.00.

I called the office on the morning of the 17th and had a rather unpleasant conversation with someone (unidentified male representative) regarding several aspects of the job. One of the things I wanted to discuss was payment, since the contract specified full payment after the job was complete. I wanted to hold some of the payment until the work passed inspection, but was told they would not do the work without full payment. The representative also made a comment about how they couldn’t wait weeks for their money until the inspection was complete. I had other questions that were treated in the same dismissive manner. I wasn’t pleased at that point, but I also needed the work done.

The technicians themselves were fine and they seemed to do a good job, although I’m not a licensed plumber myself. The lead tech asked for the lot and block number in order to file the necessary permit. I was concerned that the work was being started without it, but assumed the information I was being given by Advanced was correct. At first, the tech told me they would go down and file it on Monday. Then I pointed out that Monday was a holiday, so he laughed and said Tuesday. Despite the unpleasant man on the phone that morning, I had no reason to doubt that they would obtain the permit. I also had no idea that anything was wrong with the work they’d performed.

On January 20th, I received an email from Advanced with an estimate for someone else. I replied to let them know that a mistake had been made, and that I was still waiting for the permit invoice, but I never got a response. Then another disaster struck my household on February 14th when I was notified that the same set of tenants had no heat. I called Advanced again and they came out the same day and fixed the problem. Again, I had no problem with the service performed or the technician, who was the same lead tech from the water heater. However, I had already resolved to find another plumber as soon as possible. I simply wanted to have the water heater inspected and get through the rest of winter without further incident.

That was the last I heard from Advanced. I forgot about the permit again for a while, and then contacted them on March 20th and then again on May 19th. I don’t have an adequate excuse for why I didn’t hound them more diligently, but I also haven’t heard any excuse or apology from Advanced regarding their handling of the permit. In response to my May 19th email, I received an almost immediate response saying someone would contact me in “about 2 day”. Three days later, on May 22nd, I received two messages from two different people. The first call came in at 12:49pm from “Joe” who had someone in my area to collect $102 for the permit, or else he said I could pay the fee directly to the city. The second call came in at 5:05pm; the message was garbled but was from someone other than Joe, also looking for money.

I was out of town that weekend in a location where I wasn’t receiving a steady cell phone signal. I received both messages at the same time on the night of the 22nd. It was too late to call anyone back at that point. It was also another holiday weekend, so nothing could be done until Tuesday, the 26th. However, receiving two calls on the same day bothered me greatly. I had been waiting for months for an invoice to arrive via email. I tried to put the situation out of my mind once again, but then I got two more phone calls that weekend (both around 9am), which only added insult to injury. I don’t know why they thought it was appropriate to resolve this matter on Memorial Day weekend, or why a phone call was required at all. Those callers didn’t leave any further messages, but by that point I did not want to deal with them at all if possible. I found the whole thing quite disturbing. Advanced turned out to be the complete opposite of “professionals” and I just wanted my association with them to end.

On Tuesday morning, May 26th, I missed another phone call from someone at Advanced because I was on my way down to city hall to pay for the permit. But when I got there, the office would not accept my payment because no paperwork had been filed. So that’s when I learned that in “about 2 day”, absolutely nothing had been done. They had someone in my area to collect $102 on Memorial Day weekend, but no one qualified enough to sign some papers four months after the job had been completed. It seemed obvious that Advanced was playing some sort of game and I wanted to document all of our communications going forward. Long story short, after a whole bunch of back and forth via email, I got the permit that same day.

To my dismay, the work in question failed inspection on July 10th. I notified Advanced minutes after the inspection. I got no response, so I contacted them again on July 15th, and thus began another round of games. I provided every scrap of information they could ever hope to have from me. By the time I got the response from “JB” on July 16th, asking me to call him with the permit number and my address, I’d had more than enough of their incompetence or their nonsense, however you want to look at it. I only hope that my response offended their sensibilities as much as their behavior offended mine. However, I still can’t assume that’s the only reason I haven’t heard back from them yet.Desired Settlement: On July 21st, I had another company perform maintenance on my chimneys. In order to improve the efficiency of the entire ventilation system, new 6” pipes were installed. I am using this complaint to serve as notice to Advanced of how this matter was resolved, and ask for compensation in the amount of $175. That is what it cost to have the offending section of the ventilation pipes replaced by a “really advanced professional” who understands the plumbing codes. That company’s work passed inspection on July 24th and now I would like this matter with Advanced to come to an end, once and for all.

Thank you Revdex.com for acting as a mediator in this matter and lodging my complaint. I am prepared to submit four months worth of evidence to substantiate my version of events.

Review: This company talked me into getting an annual service contract, which I did as I just bought a new home and wanted annual maintenance done to all my heating and cooling systems. I signed a contract with them on 12/15/13 for one year and paid approximately $700. They said that they would clean and check all systems. They finished in 1 hour and said "all systems are running good, and in great shape". in two days the water heater conked off and there was no hot water. we never experienced this issue before he "check and cleaned all the systems". Since then we have called him with numerous issues with the heating and the hot water as I believe that he sabotaged our systems so that we keep calling him and so he can charge for repairs and emergency calls.Desired Settlement: I would like nothing more to do with this company and would like my pro-rata money returned, as I have no intention to ever letting these dishonest people back in my home.

Response:

WE ARE AN HONEST COMPANY AND THIS COMPLAINT IS NOT ACCURATE

First of all, the customer contacted us and asked us for an estimate on a service agreement plan for his heating system. We never talked to him on getting the service agreement plan. We only gave a price and he called us back and agreed about the price since we were the lowest bid. We have all the documents to prove that we only came for an estimate on the service agreement. Upon signing the agreement we tuned the heating system and as a courtesy we flushed the hot water heater as well. For the record, he is a new home owner and doesn’t know a lot about the service agreement and how it works. We explained it to him in detail and told him as stated in the agreement it says one visit per year is free. However, he thinks that anything goes wrong with the heating system or hot water heater that we’re responsible for it, but that’s not how it works. We service it twice a year (Winter & Summer) and any issues he has during the service agreement he will get 30% discount on labor & parts.

Furthermore, during the first two weeks he called us multiply times regarding the heating system & the hot water heater system. Nevertheless since he is a new customer we kindly didn't charge him for these service calls. it turned out all these calls because he had lack of knowledge on how to use the thermostat or how the system works. We tried to be patient & reasonable, and explained how things work. We are dedicated and devoted company. The most important thing is that a customer never feels that they were treated unfairly or that we have taken advantage of them or the situation in any way. We take things seriously, but he twisted the truth and lied and said that we sabotaged the hot water heater. Which we didn’t damage anything but explained to him that he needed to contact the manufacturer because we did what we supposed to do, and they have to send their own technician for the hot water heater. The homeowner thinks by writing us to Revdex.com we will refund him the money, but we will take legal actions due to his slandering and lying about our company reputation We will proceed with the collection process for the unpaid service visits and lawyer fees. We charged him $695 to service 2 hot water boilers in total of 6 zones and 1 hot water heater, including servicing 3 condensers for the cooling. This price is reasonable price but the homeowner doesn’t appreciate what we did.

Thank you for understanding
