I agree with everyone's reviews on Island Counseling. Over the last year they relocated, and are now called "Advanced Psych Services" located on North Lake Ave.I had been going to Island for over 6 years. The "doctors/Clinical Nurses" there spend the least amount of time possible with the patients. They are very quick to prescribe you medication, and leave you hanging waiting for refills. 90% of the time they don't answer their phones, I always end up having to go down there in person to get through to someone. They left me hanging with no psychiatrist when mine had left the practice there. Truthfully they just don't seem to care, there is no other way to put it. I toughed it out for 6 years, but I just recently went somewhere else. Yes, Dr.Osh should not have a practice. Unfortunately yet again, it's always about money.ð??¡
From my experience Island counseling does not care about there patients, it's strictly a pill mill, people tend to stay with them because it's hard to find mental health Dr's accepting new patients, luckily I got a new Dr, three times I've requested my medical records be sent to the new office but no luck, they just don't care, Dr Osh should be ashamed of himself for running this so called mental health office
It Is unfortunate this lady had unreasonable expectations when her last prescriber left employment for another practice. She had been in treatment since the opening of the practice in 2010 and expressed no concerns. However , she was following her prescriber elsewhere. Once we received a proper request for medical records, they were promptly provided.
I absolutely expressed concerns about many problems in your office, your office left me and many others without a Dr and nobody there seemed to care, I was given 2 months of prescriptions and the second month the date was wrong so I was unable to fill it, after calling your office multiple times Dr O son called me back and said they don't have any availability so I must find a new Dr and get my meds from them, this is not what I call helping people who need it, money making is what it was,,,
FYI I did NOT follow my prescriber actually I was never told where he went so please know your facts before you speak, I was over medicated and feel much better since leaving this pill mill so you did me a huge favor,,, thank you very much...
