I am rejecting this response because: I have spoken to Ryan, the foreman several times, I have texted and sent photos to him each time after the roof has leaked The sub contactor came out and took off the riglet and there was water under the riglet - he showed me a spot where they cut too deeply into the bricks He brought a black substance with him to fill that area in and also add to where they cut to fit the riglet into the chimney This 4th repair was done weekends ago on a Saturday morning When the crew left one of the bricks that was part of my chimney was laying on the ground where they were throwing the old shinglesI sent pictures of the brick to Ryan and also spoke with him on the phone to let him know that it leaked againI have called a chimney business to inspect the chimneyI spoke Ryan on the phone to tell him that it leaked again in the garage after the 4th attempt to fix and that I was having a chimney business look at the chimney I shared that this has been a bad experience with this roof My chimney did not have riglet before and I did not have these water issues

I got a call from some guy who said he was *** boyfriend, and was very demanding, and had no clue what was going on, Nor had we ever met this individual before. The homeowner never contacted us directly, which I thought was odd, as we have been out to look and fix chimney leak before and would have appreciated a call from her to inform us as to what was going on prior to complaint being made. We made necessary repairs to chimney. Our conclusion is that he very old stone chimney is unable to be made water tight, from a roofing stand pointIt is our conclusion that the water is coming in from the chimney above where our repairs have been made and are leaking due to old stone chimney construction. We have made several attempts to fix, but chimney is taking in water and coming in from above our repairWe recommend tearing down the chimney as it is no longer used for fires is my understanding and only serves as a exhaust for utilities. Mrs*** is a very poor communicator, and this makes our job very difficult as we are trying to rectify the situation and solve the problem
