When patient's come into our office we provide them with our office policy regarding our missed appointment'sPatient's sign to acknowledge our policy'sThis patient began care in Dec20, and missed her first appointment on 1/3/(Which was her second visit in our office) The fee for this missed appointment was waived and she was informed again of the policyThe patient missed the second appointment on 4/2/without notification and the fee was requested from the patientShe stated she did not have the money with her and we said we could make a payment arrangementShe refused to pay the fee, at which time she was given an alternative solution to scheduling her appointmentsWe told her to call us on a day that she knew she could make the appointment and we will schedule a time, this way she would not have to worry about paying the missed appointment fee She was last seen on 4/4/and she never contacted us for an additional appointmentsWe do not want the patients money, we are asking our patient's to keep there appointments, or cancel with in the time frame so we can give that time away to a patient who is waiting for an appointment We have in excess of 30+ patients waiting for appointment'sWe feel our missed appointment policy is far generous than most medical offices.I hope this clears up this matter

this missed appointment was waived and she was informed again of the policy. The patient missed the second appointment on 4/2/18 without notification and the fee was requested from the patient. She stated she did not have the money with her and we said we could make a payment arrangement.
