To Whom it may Concern  Regarding Complaint made by [redacted], according to his statement he has been trying to get his records for two weeks, our answer back to him was that once we got the records we would give him a call. During that time, we were transition between two systems...

and lost access to the system for which his medical records were stored, the former EMR system had to down load all our medical records to an external USB and mail them to us from Georgia.   Each time the patient called we informed him as to what was going on it was just unfortunate that we our records were delayed.   His next statement in regards to traveling over 110 miles to get pain meds and wasting his time for 3 times in a row, I do not understand what he means by this statement, since our records indicate he was here twice for physician appointments; which at those times he could have requested his records.   We do understand why he may feel her wasted his time coming to those appointments however; due to HIPPA Compliance, I cannot go into detail response back, the Physician would be more than happy to discuss with him on a personal level, as to why the patient feels his time was wasted. Advanced Spine and Pain Clinics of Minnesota
