My experience with Advanced Towing was very goodThe service was great and the driver Andre was very helpfulThe tow job was excellentMrR [redacted] went so far as to give me a ride home when he saw I was stranded in the early morning hoursThis is a good company, I would recommend them to anyone

I hired Advanced to remove illegally parked cars from my business parking lot I only have a few spaces and need every one I had trouble almost every day with parking space poachers until I called Advanced Happy to report I no longer have a parking problem They are professional and get the job done

Advanced Towing is towing company is operating under very shady, wicked business practices? They towed my car and removed the sticker from within my vehicle The manager was nasty with me on the phone and stated, "if your sticker is located near the tent area of your car, it will be towed." Who is is to determine where I place my sticker as long as it's seen? I have been living and parking at the same place for months, and just so happen on September 14th they decide to mess with my car How do they continue to stay in business and treat people like *** is a mind blowing issue This company and it's drivers need to get their minds right..."Karma always comes back around regardless of who you are"!!

Unprofessional They make a living off of working business folk like myself, yet when I showed up to the window to pay, the receptionist made me wait while she texted on her phone, and then when she was done, stopped to make out with the guy that also worked there I was so disgusted that she treated me like that and reacted negatively Ofcourse, having my car at her mercy, she proceeded to give me a hard time about my signature claiming it did not match my DL signature and then refused my credit card payment and made me pay cash And to make matters worse, they hire "watchers" to sit in lots all day to prey on hard working business folks who just want to get in and out of their stops These people have very little class and will go at all lengths to upset you, simply because they envy you

I hired Advanced to remove illegally parked cars from my business parking lot. I only have a few spaces and need every one. I had trouble almost every day with parking space poachers until I called Advanced. Happy to report I no longer have a parking problem. They are professional and get the job done.

This place has very predatory practices with most horrible people. They towed my car twice: 1) Our landlord has an agreement with this towing company that we can park in the parking lot with a business card for certain designated spots. I parked legally right on the designated spot with the business card showing on my dashboard. They still towed my car and breached their contract. I really needed my car so I paid $135. 2) I placed the card on the front mirrow and scotch taped it. They didn't "see" the card and still charged $50 saying it needs to placed only on the dashboard. They have very rude employees with very horrible attitudes.

Review: I parked in the lot of [redacted] restaurant ([redacted]) once I parked, I waited outside the restaurant for a friend to arrive. Once my friend arrived we went inside the restaurant and ordered a few drinks, thirty minutes later both I and my friends car are towed. After noticing our cars were towed we went inside to talk to the manager in which he stated that since I had a receipt I should be fine. I called the towing company (Advanced Towing) and the lady on the phone said to bring the receipt, once I arrived I showed the lady at the counter the receipt, she started to act very sketchy and then proceeded to ask me why I only spent $15 at the restaurant/bar, along with her saying there's nothing she could do, even after I showed her the proof. The staff there was very rude and even tried to fight me as I tried to plead my case. After being threatening to get beat up by the staff, I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable and ended up paying the fine even with the proof I had and even the manager of the restaurant having my side. This company is shame and I can not imagine how many other people they have extorted money from.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the amount paid which was $125.00 USD.

Review: On April 30th I was dropping some off at [redacted]. I was parked in a handicap parking space. I am an authorized through DMV for a disable handicap parking permit which was displayed and hung around my mirror. I had locked my keys in the car along with my ID, cell phone and purse along with some gifts. This was approximately around 8:55pm. I have a bad knee with severe arithiris and just had acupunture treatment the day before. I was in alot of pain and had to walk to the end of [redacted] to go to a neighbors house to get them to take me to get my other set of keys to move my car. When I got back my car was towed.

I contact Advance Towing on May 2, 2013 around 1:40 to see if the would refund my neighbor credit card because it was an honest accident and due to my medical handicap. I asked if I could speak to a manager. The person that answer the phone just said the Manager is not in and he all I get. I explained the situation to him. H e smartly responded and asked me if I my keys was in the car how did I moved the car from the tow lot. Again, I explain to him my neighbor took me to get my other set of keys and paid for the tow fee. To verify the ticket receipt number is [redacted] and is under the name of [redacted] with her credit card number. The car is register in my name [redacted].

The towing guy on the phone was rude to me. I stated to him I was going to call he Revdex.com. He told me to go ahead because they didn't care because the have a F rating anyway. I responded to him and told him that was terrible for him to say about there business.Desired Settlement: Refund the $125 back to my neighbors credit card because it was an honest mistake and the fact that I was handicap and tried to remove the car before they tow by 9:00pm.

Review: This company is a total scam, completely over aggressive towing company. They towed my car from an apparent no parking zone in a private ([redacted] Shopping Center) lot at 11:00PM on a Wednesday night, when the lines and signs indicating the no parking are faded and ONLY on the ground. There is no sign, and the painting on the ground would be hard to see in the day time let alone night, where the entire lot is dimly lit particularly in the back where I was. I was a customer of the shopping center that lot is for, and was not even in there for an hour and my car was towed in that time frame. I am 100% sure no one from the landlord was contacted to see if my car needed to be towed and there was no reason it needed to be towed other than the towing company thought they could. I was not in a fire lane or any other safety hazard nor was I blocking anyone or in the way. Further more the sign upon entering the lot says absolutely nothing about towing for that reason even if I was in a no parking zone and I have pictures to prove it. Every warning or reason your car might be towed on the lot sign I was abiding by. Upon dealing with the people trying to get my car back, I get charged $135 to get out, which I'm not even sure is legal for that time of day etc, but if yes it is certainly the max they can charge. They are completely unprofessional and an the 15 minutes I was there they brought in at least 4 other cars. It is very clear they 100% just trolling around looking for any minute reason they might can tow someone. Probably no one is challenging them as it's a big hassle, but someone needs to put operation in check.Desired Settlement: I want my $135 back first, then they should be forced to contact the landlord when they tow somebody from a private lot. They shouldn't be just going in automatically and towing cars based on their discretion as there is no remedy other than potentially suing them to get the towing fee back.

Review: My car was towed from [redacted] Apartments on 1/13/14, even though my tag was in the window as it always has been since October 2013. When the tow truck lifted my car, the pass fell onto the floor, and the tow company took my car and said I never displayed the tag. I have written proof from the apartment complex that shows I had a pass, and my car should not have been towed.Desired Settlement: I want my $125 back.

Review: Advanced towing is in charge of enforcing the towing at my apartment complex, [redacted] VA [redacted]). Because they did not do their job of enforcing the parking policy there were no spots in the lot left. Over the last couple of weeks the lot has been filled with cars without permits. There are even cars parked in the fire lines. I parked in a reserved spot that was empty because it was the only remaining spot open and I was towed.Desired Settlement: I want the towing fee reimbursed ($135).

Review: Advanced towing Company LLC, towed my car while I was using the restroom at a facility where my car was parked. Long story short when I went to pick up the car there was a lady there that was rude, racist and all of the above. She refused to take credit card from me because she knew they were in wrong doing for towing my car, also not only her attitude was bad, one of the guy's that she called to come in the room threatened my husband to beat him up, he made racial comments and they were extremely rude. All this aside the damaged my vehicle.... I can't express my frustrations enough for such experience. I have filed a police report with [redacted] County and will proceed with VA attorney general office consumer protection section, and will fill a claim in court for damages and discrimination and violation of civil rights.Desired Settlement: I need advanced towing to refund the towing fee, fix my vehicle.

Review: Advanced Towing required that I provide my driver's license in order to process a credit card payment. In addition, they proceeded to copy all of my identifying information from my driver's license.

This is: 1) a violation of [redacted]'s terms of service and 2) MORE IMPORTANTLY a potential source of identity theft as this company now has all of the information that would be necessary to steal my identity.Desired Settlement: I demand that all materials containing my personal identifying information (i.e. the forms filled out upon payment) be destroyed immediately so as to prevent the potential dissemination of my private identifying information.

Review: I parked in a shopping lot that I use fairly often. It was early and the stores were not open yet, I had other things to take care of so I went to take care of them since they open earlier. I almost always park in one lot and run to three different areas instead of driving literally across the street, it just seems easier. I was gone barely an hour and my car was gone. At first I thought it was stolen. It is a 2009 Toyota. The store I went in to call the police said it was towed. I did not check at the entrances but I did look at a sign near where I parked and it did not say anything about no parking or being towed.. I have parked there for years, at least 20 years and no problem. According to the receipt they towed it wihin 2-3 minutes after I parked. When I called to check on my car and where they are located, how to get my car an d the cost, it took 4 calls in a row and finally I had to call the police to find out the amount and how to pay, check, cash or whatever. They gave the police one amount and told me a different amount when iI arrived there. I had a policeman go with me because I was very nervous about going there alone. The police standing there I still had problems getting my car because I was blocked in twice.. When I mentioned the difference in cost stated to the police they denied it and said they would listen the the calls, if they were different they would give me my money back, I said 'go ahead', they quickly said forget it and to get out of there. Fine but my car was still blocked. The few minutes I was there 3 cars were towed in. to the lot. I really believe they sit waiting for a chance to tow cars. Now I will have to drive to each store I go to in a shopping center to make sure I don't get towed - a waste of time and money.Desired Settlement: Put signs up in the parking lot with times a person can park. I was going to shop there when they opened but didn't because I was concerned about my car and had to walk home and to the tow place. It was a very rainy day also.

Review: My [redacted] was towed by Advanced Towing Company, LLC on Saturday, September 6. Upon inspection of my vehicle, I noticed several scratches and dent(s) around the trim and moldings of the driver window caused by the tow driver.Desired Settlement: Advanced Towing Company to pay for the repairs - replacement of trim and moldings.

Review: I live in the apartment building at [redacted]. At 8:00pm the night of December 1st, 2013, I went to the building's front desk to request a guest parking pass for my vehicle. I completed the appropriate paperwork and was given a parking pass. I promptly placed the issued hang tag on my rearview mirror and parked my car appropriately in one of the building's guest parking spots. The following morning, my car was missing from that spot.

After reporting to the building's front desk, the assistant manager called Advanced Towing, and indeed my car had been towed. The manager then proceeded to check all of my paperwork to ensure that I had obtained a parking pass legitimately, and she found that I had. Advanced Towing claimed that they could not find the hang tag in the vehicle, but it was clearly there and hanging unobstructed from the rearview mirror. After some debate, the building manager was able to convince Advanced Towing to return my car since I indeed did have all of the proper paperwork, and it was clear that I had obtained the pass according to the building's policies.

Advanced Towing returned my car to the building--at their convenience, which took almost two hours--forcing me to miss several important work-related meetings. Upon inspection of my vehicle, it was clear that they had broken into the vehicle, taken it out of 1st gear (the car is a manual and I had left it in 1st gear, as I always do when I park it), and released the parking break. Most notably, the parking hang tag was no where to be found in the vehicle.

It seems clear that: 1) Advanced Towing failed to check the log at the front desk prior to towing my car; 2) did not sent a notice of towing to the front desk once they had towed the vehicle (the front desk had no such notice when I check the next morning); and 3) they are willing to break into anyone's car and remove the hang tag, forcing a "your word against mine" circumstance. It's obvious that Advanced Towing was simply hoping I would just pay to have my car back and not put up a fight. They were wrong.Desired Settlement: I would like a written statement of apology from the company. The fact that they brought my car back without charge is clearly acknowledgment that they were wrong to begin with.

Review: My car was towed on 2/23/13 from behind the [redacted] restaurant in Arlington, Virginia even though the 7x11" parking pass was in the front window as directed by the restaurant. When we got to the towing place the front office woman named [redacted] came to the car with us as we told her that the parking pass was in the front window. When we got to the car she did indeed see that the pass was clearly displayed in the front window. She called the tow truck driver over, pointed to the pass and said, "Is that the parking pass?" to which he replied, "Yes. I didn't see it." My husband then asked him how he could not have seen it and his response was to call my husband a [redacted] and walk away. There was no apology, and no compensation offered. The front office woman said "they sometimes make mistakes".Desired Settlement: I would like an apology from the owner and I would like to know that the driver who called my husband a " [redacted] has been reprimanded for not only making an egregious mistake but for feeling that he can then be as disrespectful as to call someone a " [redacted] It's 2013 no one should behave in this manner and no company should tolerate this kind of behavior from it's employees.

Review: I was towed, which is fine, I paid the fine and I was ok with that part of it. However, I witness the town truck bottom out the front end of my car and scrape the bumper. Their default response was that I curbed it. 2 different people at the shop gave me their "expert" opinion. I can live with the fact that I was in the wrong in parking. I saw them damage my car and yet they will not own up to it.Desired Settlement: It is the responsibility of the damaging party to own up and correct their mistakes. At this point I would just like an apology in writing. I am not worried about the damage.
