Review: Contracted to install the following to the property: bead boarding in living room and halls, paneling in dining room and installation of French Doors in sunroom. The work started on January 24,2013 with one-half of the cost being paid at that time. Timeline to complete: 2days. Word has not been completed to date.Since then the following issues have been encountered: 1) French Doors - the doors were installed, however, the existing door frame was ripped out and not reinstalled correctly. The framing now has numerous large gaps/cracks where there were none, nail holes can readily be seen, where there were none previously, gap between where the paneling was originally placed and where it is now and additional visable damage has been done to the frame. 2) Bead Boarding - the bead boarding was not installed correctly. There are "wide" gaps between the individual boards as well as between the boards and the base paneling and chair rails. In addition, glue was not used in the installation of the panels and the nails were set not in the grooves but directly on the face of the panels, this method practically ensures that there will be numerous "nail pops" all along the base board. 3) Paneling in the dining room was incorrectly measured and has not yet been installed. Damage to area they were not to be working on has been done and not corrected. ATK sent over representatives numerous times to take more measurements so as to create a uniform design, after the fourth time, my spouse and I had to measure the area ourselves and create the appropriate geometric design that ATM was no able to achieve after multiple attempts.Desired Settlement: We have contacted the installation foreman regarding these issues numerous times, his recommendation was for ATK to re-do the work with us paying for the material and the labor to correct their mistakes and rework. The issue was brought to the attention of ATS president [redacted] who finally agreed to inspect the problems himself, this was dome on Friday March 15,2013. As of today, there has been no response from ATS. We propose that the originally contracted work be redone at their cost and the unfinished part of the original contract be delivered. We will provide the remainder of the payment due, once the work is completed to our satisfaction.
