had a sales person come to house and tell me how much better the soft water would be once kinetico installed there system.. $3300 later after install on 6-12-2015..........(purchasedX-X-XXXX) still don't have what was promised.....soft water in shower .....better wash cleaning......called and had owner come out......he tested water and said it maybe due to municipal chlorine in water co.....need another $800-$1200 dollars to add a filter to remove chlorine......he said the sales person should have been more up front or better trained and let us know this.....we have spent (financing thru them) $5200 for the system ....We did get a reverse osmosi system that works good......other than that we are on the hook for $3295. plus tax dollars for a softener that is not working as promised.....Product_Or_Service: kinetico water softerenOrder_Number: no-5-04serAccount_Number: kX-XXXXXXXDesired SettlementGive what was promised and make system work as promised without having to pay anymore or refund for water softerner and we will keep the only thing that's working as promised.....the reverse osmosis systemBusiness Response /[redacted]/We contacted the customer and they now agree the proper treatment was discussed, but never chosen. We have re analyzed the water quality and discussed adding the proper carbon filter attachment for chlorine at NO charge to the customer. The customer was comparing soft water in another State with soft water here and the alkalinity difference between States may cause the difference in "feel" of soft water. All currently installed Kinetico equipment is working as promised and the customer now appears satisfied.Consumer Response /[redacted]/Business called to say consumer is completely satisfied with their resolution.
