Need a warranted window replaced ASAP due to house being sold and promised it would be done by May 15 week. Still no response from company
One of the windows we purchased had popped its seal. We first contacted Advanced April 4th to put in a warranty complaint. After many missed calls and supposed sent texts we finally got an email stating the window would be delivered to Advanced the week of May 15th and it would be installed in a timely manner. We are now 2 weeks past the expected timeframe and still no call or update from Advanced when they are well aware the house is being sold and we needed this done as a part of our selling agreement.

Please inform Mr ***. That as I (***) was on HOLIDAYS out of country at the first time of there calls and still assisted as well as went above and beyond as he no longer had his warranty card and or invoice info its pretty extraordinary as most companies would have told him/her at this point it is your problem and or responsibility to paying for any issues.

Furthermore Again, a letter head has been sent May 3rd in which Mr and Mrs *** should have delivered to the new home owners and or realtor as again there are no guarantees to freight and custom fabrications time frames. So this letter head stated that the sealed unit had in fact been ordered on a service request form with order acknowledgement thanks to advance windows and doors doing the leg work for the service warranty etc.. This letter head stated the deliver was set for the week of May 15th, 2019 so as you can imagine we never promised any install date as we had no guaranteed delivery and all involved knew the tract record of freighting loose glass via standard logistics company!!!!!

Now that the glass has arrived to Timmins without and breakage, June 10th 2019 I spoke with Mr *** via telephone at 12:20PM to schedule in the sealed unit replacement for June 13th, 2019. He stated the home was no longer in his possession and he would have to check with the new home owners if there would be any issues to this date set. Mr *** told me he would call me back to confirm and never did so. As we did not receive call, I am not wasting my time going somewhere we canot gain entry and risk transporting glass and damaging it any time it is handled.

Now at this point, Advance windows and doors will still be taking care of the sealed unit install and will require new homeowners telephone number so we can orchestrate direct with them to having this unit changed out.

The eavestrough along the back wall of *** is coming away from the building. Also, all of the corners (8) leak.
I had the eavestroughs replaced by Advanced on Sept 6 2013. In the spring of 2018 I noticed that a length of eavestrough was coming away from the building. I didn't want to call *** the manager because two years ago I had called him about a broken window crank (they had replaced 25 windows for me a few years before) and when I called a month or two later to find out if they had received the new crank, *** had basically told me " don't call me I'll call you". In the end, I called the window manufacturer myself and had someone install it. I never heard from Advanced about the crank. On July 26th I drove down to their place of business where I spoke to ***. She looked in her system but could not find my bill. A few days later I texted her a copy of my bill. I texted her again on Aug 17th and Sept 15th. At one point I also called her and she said that she would look into it. I never got a response. On Sept. 28th I called *** cell phone. It went to voicemail and I left a message telling him what the call was about and I asked him to call me back. I never got a response. Since then I have tried to get other eavestrough companies to repair the problems but I have been unsuccessful. It seems that they don't like to touch anyone else's work. The building is a 2 1/2 storey and it's difficult to get someone to go up that high. If I could do it myself I would. When I first contacted Advanced the job was still under warranty.

Hello ***, Please note there is zero warranty on your eavestrough as we in *** only warrant seamless eavestrough for 1 year. Furthermore as we have spoke about this last year in 2017 I had told you there was no warranty and we could send someone out to repair the eaves as well as one of the downpipes for a cost and you told me no. Again as this is a job that was done in 2013 we can have any repairs done but at a cost. Please let me know if this is something you would like to have done and I can get you a price.

The response from Advanced is all fiction. 1. I noticed the problem late spring of 2018 so you certainly didn't offer to repair the problem in 2017. 2. You mention a downpipe in need of repair...I have no idea what you are talking about. I have no issues with downpipes. 3. I have never ever spoken to anyone about this but ***..no one has ever called me back. Although the "inaccuracies" in your response make me question your willingness to satisfy me as a customer, I would like to give you the opportunity to price out the job. I'm not hard to get along with...I just want some service.
I indicated that I accept the response from the business. To be clear, I accept the solution to the problem but not their version of the facts.
