I am rejecting this response because the vehicle was clearly not previously checked and if it were it never would have been sold in that condition, doesn't give you the right to sell people broken vehicles

[redacted] bought the truck with a discount and was offered a warranty. The discount was given since she was a previous customer.  She called one month later saying the truck had a bad wheel bearing.  We explained that we discounted the truck but will split cost or repair or wheel...

bearing.  The customer agreed.  We gave the customer a loaner unit to drive while we repaired her truck.  We called the customer to let her know her truck was complete and can be picked up.  She snuck into our lot and got in her truck and took off without paying.  By the time we noticed, she was gone.  The loaner came back filthy with cigarette ashes everywhere and the smell of smoke in the unit.  We left the matter and moved on.  Three weeks later the customer 's boyfriend called to tell us the truck broke down and he wanted to know if we could help.  The salesman explained that we helped her last time and she never paid her part of the bill.  We refused to help.  Her boyfriend said he didn't know that she did that and said he will take care of this repair.  [redacted] came to the lot one to two weeks later asking for us to refund money.  She was aware that she bought the vehicle as-is but was upset that we wouldn't help her since she didn't pay her part after the last repair.  she got verbally abusive towards our salesman and said she didn't want to trade the vehicle but wanted her money back.  We are sorry that we couldn't solve this problem reasonably with the customer but it was obvious that she wasn't open to a reasonable resolution.
