I am very sorry that you have had a negative experience with Advantage Beauty and Health and, as the owner, want to everything in my power to resolve this issue to your satisfaction.

I just recently became aware of a complaint that you filed in March with...

The Revdex.com. I am very very sorry you had trouble contacting our business while we were in transition to new staff and a new building.   As part of the complaint you stated that you made at least 6 phone calls to attempt to schedule your appointment to utilize "carryover" units from a 100 unit package you had previously purchased in August.   Up until February of this year I have only had one (business) phone number. I have reviewed my business phone record (###-###-####) and found 1 call from you (12/03/13 at 3:32 PM) other than the two you made in August (one on 8/10/13 at 10:36AM and one at 8/13/13 at 4:23PM) surrounding your appointment on August 16th 2013 at which you purchased 100 units of [redacted].   You utilized 75 units of  [redacted] at that time and as such still have 25 units remaining.  I am more than happy to have you come in to utilize your remaining units and of course we are still price matching the [redacted] rate for whatever units you need to complete your treatment.  

You also mentioned a couple of other modes of contact of which I could not find a record, those being e-mail and [redacted].  I am not a [redacted] user and I have no messages or activity on my Advantage Beauty and Health [redacted] page that was started on 9/28/11.  I know there must be (or may be) another  (business related) [redacted] page because a previous employee had done some work on one.  But, again, the one about which know about and to which I have access does not have any activity whatsoever.  I am in no way trying to say you did not make these attempts to contact me; only that I cannot find a record thereof.  I will readily grant you that some of your methods of contact may have been mishandled by people working in my name and, again, for that, I sincerely apologize.  

The "bottom line" is -- I was out of contact from Oct 17th 2013 through Feb 15th 2014.  I was in jail for a DUI charge I committed on Thanksgiving day 2011.  The people who "took over" my business during that absence did NOT have my best interest in mind to say the very least.  It is blatantly untrue that I was asked to leave Applause because of any problems with my customer service or my business practices.  On the contrary they (the owners of Applause) were in constant negotiations with me to stay at Applause and even to potentially have me take over 1/2 of their leased space.  On August 30th 2013 I purchased a commercial property at [redacted]:

They were informed of my intent to purchase my own building in June or July of 2013 and they continued to rent space to me until Feb 2014 at which time I was able to open at my new facility.  While I was gone the nurse I hired to do injections for me as well the people at Applause both decided to start their own business utilizing my client list/client base that I spent well over $150,000 (primarily to or through Groupon) and 3 years of my time and energy to develop. Any representation those people made of me after October or November of 2013 to the present day is clearly skewed by their self interest.

This business means everything to me.  I have truly invested everything I have into it physically, financially and emotionally.   I made some very poor choices after a very difficult period in m life (the loss of 5 primary family members in 14 months:  beginning with my late husband Stuart Lange on February 3rd 2009, My grandmother Alvina [redacted]  July 18th, 2009, My father [redacted] on Sept 21st 2009, My brother [redacted] on April 21st 2010 my grandftather [redacted] on April 25th 2010.  Those poor choices culminated in the DUI on Thanksgiving day, upon which all of these problems with my business stem. From an alcohol/"recovery" stand point that Thanksgiving day represented a "slip" as I had previously made a commitment to remain alcohol free as a part of my ongoing grief recovery process as well as a life long commitment to being the best person I can be.  I will grant you that a DUI is a serious offense but I do not think it is something  over which someone should loose their business or their career.

I give you all of this detail in an attempt to convince you of my sincerity in making this right.  Please let me know if you would still like to utilize your remaining 25 units of [redacted] or if there is some other way I can make this right for you.

I have been a customer of Lynette's and Tori's for approximately 5 years. So often aestheticians can make you feel uncomfortable or as if you are not worthy of their time and best effort. This is precisely the opposite here. Every time I come for a consult or treatment I'm treated as if I'm family. The ladies here are genuinely interested in how I'm doing, giving honest feedback about my treatment options and outcomes, and I've never felt they were just trying to ring the register. Results from each of the treatments they've recommended always surpass my expectations. I'm truly grateful to Lynette for assembling a first-rate business, and I give Advantage Beauty & Health my highest recommendation.

Review: I purchased 180 units of [redacted] around October 2013 and had only used approximately 75 to 100 of those units. I still had quite a bit of unused banked [redacted] to be used on my next visit. This business has since moved locations since my last visit and has not returned any of my approximate six phone calls, numerous emails and even [redacted] posts. Their new location is open and operating for business but the business owners refuse to call me back to schedule an appointment to use my banked [redacted] in addition to purchasing more. I was informed by the salon the business was formally conducting business out of that they were asked to leave due to poor business practices and terrible customer service. Since this business appears to be operating I do want to file a complaint 1) because they owe me money/product but also let others know the truth about this company. They have very, very, very poor customer service which also makes me question the quality of their products.Desired Settlement: I want this company to have a negative rating with Revdex.com.
