Here is a synopsis of the events that took place:7/31/ [redacted] dropped off his boat for an estimate to repair the damage to his boat The fee charged is 5% of the estimate Please see attached signed repair order authorizing us to do the estimate Billerica Motorsports completed the estimate and worked with the customer’s insurance company Estimate charge is credited to the customer if/when the repair job is completed by Billerica Motorsports8/7/ [redacted] picked up his boat and paid for the 5% estimate charge This is the last time his boat was at Billerica Motorsports.Fall Customer called the service department to make an appointment to get the fiberglass work done on his boat We were very busy at the time so we couldn’t take the boat in right away Some fiberglass work we send out depending on how extensive it is and the customer asked to get the information of the body shop we use The customer elected to not go through Billerica Motorsports and go direct Customer also ordered a few parts for his boat Parts were picked up and paid forWe are unsure of what happened with the customers insurance settlement Besides looking at the boat for the estimate, Billerica Motorsports has never completed any repairs to the customer’s boat

The dealer is twisting the reality of the what transpired, and leaving MANY details out. This dealer was asked multiple times as to when the boat could be brought in for repair, and they were always too busy. On the last call, it was the DEALER that suggested I bring the boat directly to the person THEY were going to have do the Fiberglass work. I agreed to THEIR suggestion on this and brought the boat myself to their sub-contractor. I will re-iterate, I asked to bring the boat to Billerica for this service and they said "If you bring it here it will just sit here for weeks until we have time to bring it so if you want to save some time, you can bring it there yourself". They then provided the Fiberglass contact. The Dealer was contacted MULTIPLE times to deal with the insurance estimate mis-match because their Fiberglass sub-contractor disagreed with the estimate. This took weeks to resolve and the Dealer was contacted at least times to help with resolution which they never did. Ultimately, I went to the insurance company directly to supersede the mistake made on the estimate.Regardless, the dealer said the 5% was CREDIT towards the work done and parts purchased there, and AGREED I could do some of the work myself. My previous document still stands - the totals payed towards this repair should entitle me to the 5% credit that was part of the initial agreement. I still expect a credit from this deal in the form of a check (which they also stated they would send me when I picked up my parts, but did not!)
Regards,
