For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[I am totally in awethat I even have a complaint hereTo begin with we were dispatched to thisman's by Choice Home Warranty, the first thing we did was set an appointment westayed in constant communication with Mr*** De untilwe arrived at his home.Our intinal dispatch to Mr*** De home was tofix toilets up stairs, after doing so he said other workThen he took us(*** ***, and Myself *** * ***) to his basement and began showing ushow a pipe that had frozen and busted form an outside garden hose seal cox dueto there not being any insulation in the wall and leaked and flooded hisbasement To which the insurance (His home owners policy) had paid himAndfurther he shows us how that his drywall and entire basement had floodedHeasked us to lie to the Choice Home Warranty insurance company and get them topay for it, which we could not do thatThe $he paid to us was thedeductible for the insuranceRESPONSE: This is utter lyingI talked him about the additional work (fixing the pipe) which I said I will pay myself for thepiping work on 02/13/during scheduling of the appointmentWhen in thefirst place I did not make a claim with Choice Home Warranty (since it was paidby Erie insurance) then how come I ask them to lie to choice home warranty?Will it be believable to either choice home warranty or me or anybody else? ................................................................................... for leaking water line, he did hire us to replace a section of line and fittings (after arguingwith us over our price until we were doing the job for far below usual scale)$for Tech's for hours is below any reasonable scale for such worknot mention travel time with trips to the supply house for partsRESPONSE: My insurance company (Erie Insurance) and also Harris Services, Bloomington, Indiana gave me a writtenestimation of ~dollars for both parts and laborShould I pay Mr***dollars for this work? Mr*** primarily worked on the toilet for (1hr) and I did not see him touching the piping work at all other than assistingMr*** verballyOn top of the dollars I paid he got money from ChoiceHome Warranty Company an unspecified amount for their trip and toilet work. ................................................................................... finally agreed to help him out since we were already thereWe replaced the line installed thefittings, checked for leaks and he did also check. Whenleft them were no leaks! RESPONSE: Water was leaking from the very beginning of when Mr*** fixed the pipe in the second attemptWhile I waswriting the check I told him if the water leak does not stop will he come and fix it for free, he said yesThe whole conversation took place in front of mywifeWater was leaking ghastly after Mr*** *** apparently fixed it in first attempt and I had to check and tell him thatMr*** never checked the pipe after fixing (firstattempt)Again I repeat, I had to check and tell him that, then only they fixed it second time with different kind of pipe............................................................................... few days later hecalled and said it was leaking I told him he needed to replace more pipebecause the old pipe must have frozen further up and the new shark bitefittings did not hold there seal to the oldThis is utter lyingMyphone record from Verizon wireless confirm that I talked to him on 6:PM onthe day of service (02/14/2015) to let him know that water is still leaking andalso on the very next day (02/15) for minutes that the water leak did notstop (he said due to calcium deposition water leak will stop)So I asked himto come and fix it for freeIf his workmanship is horrible then he should fix itfor freeMr*** never mentioned in his reply whether his assistant usedknife or sawI saw him using knife and did not see any saw at allMr***wanted to extract more money for the problem Mr*** created and we wereextremely frustrated with his workmanship and his nature of extracting moremoney thus I filed a claim about the leak with Choice Home Warranty on02/16/which was within hours of work performedIs it considered Icalled him after couple of days about the leak? I am totally in awe that I even have a complaint here. To begin with we were dispatched to this man's by Choice Home Warranty, the first thing we did was...

set an appointment we stayed in constant communication with Mr. [redacted] De until we arrived at his home.Our intinal dispatch to Mr. [redacted] De home was to fix 2 toilets up stairs, after doing so he said other work. Then he took us ([redacted], and Myself [redacted]) to his basement and began showing us how a pipe that had frozen and busted form an outside garden hose seal cox due to there not being any insulation in the wall and leaked and flooded his basement To which the insurance (His home owners policy) had paid him. And further he shows us how that his drywall and entire basement had flooded. He asked us to lie to the Choice Home Warranty insurance company and get them to pay for it, which we could not do that. The $45.00 he paid to us was the deductible for the insurance. As for leaking water line, he did hire us to replace a section of line and 2 fittings (after arguing with us over our price until we were doing the job for far below usual scale) $125.00 for 2 Tech's for 2 hours is below any reasonable scale for such work not mention travel time with 2 trips to the supply house for parts. We finally agreed to help him out since we were already there. We replaced the line installed the fittings, checked for leaks and he did also check. When left them were no leaks! A few days later he called and said it was leaking I told him he needed to replace more pipe because the old pipe must have frozen further up and the new shark bite fittings did not hold there seal to the old
pipe. Hence for us return would be more work, resulting in an additional cost. At that point he threatened me with legal action and complaints if I did not return and fix his faulty plumbing free of charge! To which responded; Sir 1 do not respond well to being threatened after doing this work for you at a discounted rate and informing you that whomever did your plumbing to begin with did a bad job it was out of code and there was no insulation to protect the piping from the outside weather.
At that point I told him I would not work for him under no circumstancesand for no amount of money and to void any and all estimates he had requested from and that I had given him for the other work to repair all the damage to his basement from the intinal work.
Another day had past and Choice Home Warranty called and asked us if they paid us would we return to this Mr. [redacted] home and fix a leaking water line. I refused the job and I told them why the man tried to extort us with threats to do more work for him free of charge and we had lost all faith and trust in this man to the point we would not work for him again under any circumstances.
The bottom line here is Mr. [redacted] Do plumbing in this area and perhaps in the entire house was substandard and outside of any reasonable code. The leak Is not our fault and he angry because we would not allow him to bully us!
