Advantage Concepts, Inc Reviews (4)

We received the complaint about the situation that happened at the auto dealership *** and *** Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. We checked into this matter with the dealership and they said they didn’t know why someone would not receive the gift card if they did a test drive AND appraisal
of their current vehicle. The general manager did say they had some people that came in and wanted to test drive and hurry up and get their gift card without doing an appraisal of their current vehicle. However, he stated he had no way of know if this is what happened in this situation, especially without the name of the salesman you talked to. We did try and give you a call a few days ago with no answer so I choose just to send you an email. The letter we sent is attached to this email and it does say at the bottom same payment is dependent upon down payment amount and a change in the length of terms. Also, it should be noted we do not get to mail these on our own. All letters we send out are approved by the General Manager of the dealership as well as Chrysler. I have attached a sample of the letter that was sent out that has the stamp of approval from Chrysler as ok to send. These are looked over by their lawyers and okayed for mailing before we send it out. If you or your sales person at the dealership did not follow the rules of the approved Chrysler letter then this needs to be addressed with the dealership itself or Chrysler and not the direct mail marketing company.*** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Any
direct mail merchant is fully responsible for vetting the recipients of the letters it sends, based on current model ownership.  The dealer expressed, in no uncertain terms, that I should have never been bothered with a letter because my truck is mid-sized and this is a full-sized promotion.  The salesperson strongly suggested that I not proceed with the promotion.  This direct mail merchant released letters based on shoddy research and now wants to blame Chrysler for their issue.  Consumers are tired of having their time wasted by too-good-to-be-true offers, but when one arrives linked to the credibility of their local dealership, they expect it to be true.  Advantage Concepts, Inc. of Louisville, KY has compromised the trust and integrity of the local Chrysler Dealership in [redacted], MI and has created ill will.  This trickery will not soon be forgotten by myself and others who received their direct mail communication, whether that be in error or purposeful.  I wholly reject their attempt to distance themselves from responsibility in this matter.
