with us todo her master bath approximately one year after completing her kitchen whichwas March of 2014. The project started and completed on time and as of April2014 when done the customer was happy. However at some point in April or thebeginning of May [redacted] reached out to the office complaining about waterpooling on her countertop and we scheduled a time to come and take a look. Uponour first visit there it was very difficult to determine what was happening sowe inspected the underside of the vanity because her main complaint was thatthe faucet was leaking. We explained to her that we couldn’t give a good enoughevaluation at that time because there was no evidence of water in the basecabinet and if the faucet was leaking on top of the counter it would have to berunning down as well. So we left and asked her to please keep an eye on it andshe said she would. A week or so later [redacted] reached out again with the samecomplaint and we scheduled the plumbers to go take a look. They as well couldnot find the issue but acknowledged some residual water on the counter andstill No evidence of water or leaks below. All of the mechanical connectionsthat the plumbers had made were sound and not leaking so they decided to changeout the faucet cartridge with the plumbing Suppliers recommendation. Beforeleaving her home they inspected everything again, ran the faucet for at leastfive minutes and explained that everything seemed fine and she agreed. That wasour last contact with [redacted] until I received an email in March of thisyear 2015 that read, I am going to the Revdex.com with a complaint about your company.I was extremely upset and immediately reached out to her with no response, infact, when I did catch up with her on the phone she would not talk to me and justhung up. I stayed persistent and she agreed to meet with me. At that time shebrought out a list of issues and said she had left several messages through thecourse of the year with no reply from us. I apologized and explained that I didnot receive the messages and asked at that time why she did not simply stop bymy office or email me with her complaint. Her reply was “I wanted to keep itoff line” and there was no answer about stopping at my office which is approximately2-3 miles from her house. We discussed the issues, I looked over everything andagreed there was damage due to water. I explained at this time that I would bewilling to warranty anything related to our work and I would do it at herconvenience. I also said that I wasn’t sure how we got to this point but I havebeen in business locally for over 20 years and I am not going anywhere. Sheagreed to let us rectify and pulled out a paper from [redacted] with a faucetspec on it and said this is what I want now. I replied no problem we willpurchase new faucets and install for you as well as replace the water damageddrawer front and door. She also explained that she was never happy with thebacksplash choice, she thought that the vanity or top was out of level and thestrip on the bottom of the frameless shower door was ripped. I agreed to lookat all of her issues and asked in what order would she like us to perform. Shereplied, lets change faucets first and schedule the other work down the road. Isaid whatever you prefer and we will accommodate you at this point. I went backto the office and ordered her faucets along with the drawer and door fronts. The following week the plumbers went out and changed out her faucets with thenewly selected brands. I personally followed up with her the next day to seehow everything was and if the faucets were to her liking and she replied“good”. The next message I received from [redacted] stated that I went to [redacted] overthe weekend and found a new purple top and everything I really wantedoriginally. I felt rushed when I signed the contract and didn’t get what Ireally wanted and the new faucets are leaking now. I shouldn’t of given youguys the benefit of the doubt and I shouldn’t of settled on my selections. Ireplied can we talk or stop by to see? She never replied again but insteadwrote the complaint to the Revdex.com. Honestly, I feel she has buyers remorse and doesn’t like herselections. The water damage was due to a defective faucet that had nothing todo with the install. We schedule our jobs out 4-6 months ahead so no customeris rushed into any selections. That being said I would’ve still done whateverto make her happy. The other issues on her list were easy fixes. It isunfortunate we are where we are now my company prides itself in being honestand transparent within the community I live and have children in.      .

Review: Advantage Contracting LLC ("Contractor") performed a bathroom remodel ("Project") for me in 2014. I approved the design; but I didn't sign the contract when it was first presented because I couldn't find a suitable countertop. I mentioned this to Contractor, stating that I wanted to delay the Project because I couldn't find a suitable countertop. Contractor told me that Contractor had already ordered the cabinets. Feeling flustered by Contractor's pre-emptive ordering of cabinets, and getting the feeling that I had an obligation to continue the Project, I finally selected a countertop with assistance of Contractor. I then signed the Contract and Contractor proceed to perform the Project. The wrong model bathtub came in. However, I agreed to let Contractor use the incorrect model and modify it to my satisfaction. Within 1 month of when the Project was completed, I told the Contractor that water was leaking from the faucet on 1 of the sink, pooling on the countertop and eroding the grout on the backsplash, running down the wall, damaging the wallpaper and spilling onto the floor creating a slippery situation. The Contractor tried a few solutions and then indicated that they had exhausted all ideas Contractor had to remedy the situation. I sent a few emails explaining that the problematic situation was worsening. Then I left a number of voice mail message indicating the increasing severity of the problem. I didn't receive any response to these additional complaints. When I indicated several months ago that I was going to file a complaint with Revdex.com, Contractor finally responded. Contractor claimed to be unaware of my repeated phone calls. The problem has now developed to the point that mold is developing from all of the moisture, a potential health issue. Contractor has again tried several remedies; but none have worked. In addition, the rubber strip at the bottom of the shower door is separating from the door and must be replaced.Desired Settlement: I have purchased additional wallpaper to replaced the damaged wallpaper. I have contacted an environmental agency regarding testing for mold and remediation services. I am interviewing other contractors, regarding removing the damaged material and completing the Project to my satisfaction. Depending on the scope of the repair contract, I may be able to use the existing wallpaper,,floor tile, and faucets. However, removal of the existing backsplash tile and mirrors in order to remedy the plumbing problems which rose during the work on the Project by Contractor may result in there not being enough new wallpaper to remedy that portion of the Project. Thus, I may have to start over with new wallpaper, or choose to have the walls painted and do an entirely new remodel from the beginning. I want to be reimbursed for all costs involved in remedying the Work of Contractor or performing a new remodel, if necessary.
